Ventured out to Williams, Oregon on my 27th birthday to visit the educational gardens at Herb Pharm; unfortunately because my birthday is in the middle of winter there wasn't much to see! The medicinal gardens are most beautiful in the spring; as they are in bloom at that time. The staff at Herb Pharm welcomed me into their office and was kind enough to give me their latest catalog. I love their products! You can purchase them at Whole Foods, SCNM Medicinary, online, and at other local natural grocery stores. I love their tincture sprays! Wish there was a gift shop or tasting room at the headquarters. It's such a beautiful area, would love to see a herbal boutique open on the Herb Pharm campus. This company donates herbal medicine the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine Naturopaths without Borders club so that we can give less privileged countries the healing power of nature. After trying all summer long to get an interview with the Herb farm by applying for 3 or more different positions, I was finally successful but they were not willing to give me more than 2 Different choices on when I was able to come in for an interview! I would not recommend this company as an employer for someone who's willing to give more than they would get out of their time because the Herb Pharm is obviously not willing to give an inch themselves.... Herb Pharm used to be the best source for herbs. However, they have changed their formulation from using alcohol to vinegar. For this reason (you can look at the recent reviews on Amazon about the change), I will no longer recommend or use Herb Pharm products. So sad to see the decline. However another company who keeps the integrity of their products foremost, will be getting my money. Bottom line, Herb Pharm has lost not only my business, but my respect. read more
