My mother is a patient of Dr. Heperlee and I was too when I lived in the area. Dr. Heperlee is wonderful! Thorough, takes time to understand the medical issue and has a great bedside manner. However, her staff does not follow through with Dr. Heperlee's instructions often leaving my mother with prescriptions she needs for weeks. She is still waiting on a referral to a specialist for over a month. Furthermore, her staff is rude, dismissive of patients' concerns, and disorganized. It is quite sad that such an amazing doctor has such an unorganized and incompetent staff. read more

My wife almost died due to Dr. Marilyn Hepperle, MD neglect. Super long wait times.

When I first started coming here, I thought I had found the best doctors ever but here lately they don't return your calls. They forget a lot of things the medicine I keep getting prescribed is not doing me any good and now I can't even get in touch with them to renew my prescription that I get every month for my pain medication. Nobody is answering the phone for me to even get an appointment scheduled and when I leave a message which you can only leave one a day, no one is calling me back. I hate to say it but I have changed my mind about them greatly. I'm looking for a new doctor in Prattville if anybody has any any good recommendations, I would love it and it would be so helpful. read more

This office is not organized, does not communicate, does not respect the disabilities of patients, and is run by all the friends of the owner. His staff is incompetent and rude. If you need to be seen about a specific issue, your best bet is an Urgent Care or find another doctor. I speak from experience. She overdosed me when I trusted her as my doctor and neglected to treat my blind sister, giving her the go-around for the last 6 months. Never EVER go to Marilyn Hepperle!!! read more

I've been seeing this doctor since 2010 and like any other doctors office they get busy. They now have 3 doctors but this doctor is greatly loved so they are busy at times. I don't know about some people but I like a doctor that spends more than 5 minutes with me. If you want a 5 minute doctor she is not for you. She and her partners have bed side manners you would kill for. I love this office. I've moved and still continued to drive over 100 miles to see this doctor and I think that says something about the quality of service. I can wait a little bit for a caring staff and doctor. read more

This doctor overuses medication unnecessarily. I could not recommend her or her staff. One bright spot to the office is nurse practitioner, Zach Jones. But, he's not a doctor so I would move on to another practice. She needs to retire! read more

12/6/2012 Today was my first & last visit with the office. I arrived at 3pm and after having vitals taken I was told to return to waiting room and it would be after 5pm before I would be seen. An older gentleman and lady said this is not a good place to come if you are expecting to get out within 2 hours. When I left around 3:45pm without seeing doctor the waiting area was full and lined up out in the hall. People said doctor is nice but it takes all day to see her even with an appointment. I'M GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more
