I absolutely do not recommend this practice. My husband had a follow up from a procedure and they…read morerefused to see him due to workers comp not sending the info needed for a totally separate issue (nothing to do with this procedure). Okay, fine. I ask for a nurse to call me back with wound care going forward, because this is info we would have gotten at the follow up visit. The nurse calls back and says that we can go to urgent care. That is pure negligence on this practices part. There is no need for my husband to go clog up the urgent care to find out if we need to continue to wrap is toe or leave it to open air. All because they're waiting on workers comp to send the info for my husbands heel sore. Terrible! Let's me know they are more concerned with money than patient care.

Doctor said he was giving me an airheel for each foot, a splint for night time, and he was prescribing a topical pain reliever that would be filled by a Texas pharmacy since no local pharmacies carried it. My insurance company was billed $90 for each Airheel and $90 for the splint. Checking online, the exact same Airheel is readily available for less than $30 each and the splint for $20! A couple days later I get a call from the Texas pharmacy saying my insurance company declined to pay for the topical pain reliever so they were looking to set up a cash arrangement. I asked the cost and she replies, "Its in the thousands!" I already pay too much for healthcare but this facility makes me understand why! Absolutely irresponsible!
