My husband and I stayed in the Hensleigh on the night of 18/08/11. From the moment we arrived we were offered complimentary coffee in the dining room area of the hotel which was a lovely conservatory, decorated in little nic nacs for sale around the walls. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There were no views but we were there for fossilling not the views from the hotel. It was a five minute walk to the beach and the town. At £105.00 for a double, this was by far the most expensive B&B we had booked on our week's holiday. I think the staff were well worth the money. Polite and friendly. The full english was very tasty, served in the sunny conservatory. As we were leaving the owner actually came out to the car park and asked if we had enjoyed our stayyou don't see that happen very often! Very impressed. read more
