I had ordered the Kung Pao chicken and I was ashamed because I kept eating more from my wifes dish because it was just so damn good! I really do recommend eating here, the food is very tasty and made clearly by a great chef. I'm hard pressed to give this 4 or 5 stars, but the dish was just so perfect I have to go with 5.

Upon arrival, I noticed that that there were a lot of other single diners who had been placed at the same table. So imagine a table full of people, but no one is talking. Weird. Anyway, the waitress was so nice and sweet! She greeted me in Finnish, but then switched to English when she saw the blank stare on my face. I ordered the combo plate which in California would normally cost about $5 cost the equivalent of $16!!! Crazy, right?! Such was life in Helsinki, super expensive! Anyway, my meal included small, but tasty, portions of sweet an sour chicken, fried prawns, beef and curry chicken. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful! I had a pleasant experience, I would highly recommend it.

Main dishes come with rice, so I got the chili tofu pot (€18.90), which comes with rice. It took about 20 mins for the dish to come out. The dish was definitely spicy but super flavourful, cooked with fermented bean paste, Szechuan peppercorns, red chilis, celery, a few small slices of red and green bell peppers, and more, served with a very generous portion of rice. Wonderfully flavoured dish. Coming from Vancouver, we're spoiled for top-notch authentic Chinese, and this really holds up. Highly recommended.

This was a happy surprise during our long journey in Europe!…read more It is near end of August, and Helsinki is already at chilling 10 degree C at night (I know it's not cold for the locals, but for people from Taiwan and California, it is already cold!) My family was very tired after 2 weeks of traveling in Europe, and we are staying at the very nice apartment hotel Aallonkoti, about 2 minutes away from the restaurant. My mother missed Asian cooking very much, so I decided to give this Chinese restaurant a try when I walked by. The restaurant seems to serve buffet as a dining-in option, but I went for the a la carte option anyways, because that's how Chinese people like to order :p I ordered stir fried green leafy veggies (not the mixed ones), a tofu dish, veggie fried noodles, chicken & corn soup, and lemon chicken with the waitress' recommendation. They came out all very delicious!! The seasoning was just right, not too salty. The veggies were fresh and had a good balance of crisp and moist. And the lemon chicken was super delish!!! The veggie portion in the noodle dish was very generous! Rice was good. Overall, we were all very happy! Despite that we still tried to eat some local Finnish food everyday, we actually ate one meal everyday from here during our stay in Helsinki! Haha XD The waitresses were very friendly. They even offered me hot tea while I waited for my take out order. If you happen to stay around the area and crave for some authentic Chinese dishes, try this place and go for the a la carte :)
