My husband and I began working with Ray in Spring of 2013 and shook his hand as we closed on our first home in July 2013. I knew we would be working with Ray almost immediately after we met. He proved himself to be the utmost professional. Clearly an expert in the Montpelier area, he guided us through the process with confidence. Furthermore, as first time homebuyers we needed someone very honest and diligent to ensure we knew what was happening throughout the buying process - Ray was exactly that. I particularly appreciated Ray's kind and warm demeanor with me and my husband and 2 little boys. It really helped, when my husband and I wanted to talk through what we were seeing, that Ray could successfully interact with our 2 year old! Altogether, whether an experienced homebuyer or novices like us, I simply cannot recommend Ray more highly.

Bailey Kuban put absolute nightmare tenants into my home. Bailey stated that she had placed…read moresuccessfully placed "hundreds" of tenants in rental properties with no issues, which is why I signed the contract with Green Light Real Estate. The tenants she selected for us immediately tried to shake us down demanding $9,800 in cash from us, the landlords, because they decided they changed their mind and wanted money for another place. When they were told they had no legal standing to make such an absurd claim, they then stated they would be paying rent late every month because they didn't have enough money. (Bailey stated that they had more than tripled the rent available monthly and would cause no issues.) Additionally, the tenants trashed the property leaving garbage all over the front porch and driveway. I'm terrified as to what the condition of the property will be at the end of the year. Bailey actually wrote to me today that I have a "good cause" for not renewing these tenants again next year. I don't know if she is wildly naive or just completely lied about her experience. Whatever the case, I strongly recommend working with Bailey Kuban or anyone at Green Light Real Estate. We are living our worst case scenario.

I am always pleased with the final product. Thomas property Management has also done home maintenance for me on a regular basis-painting my deck, adding a maintenance free divider, cleaning lint from the dryer, painting inside and on my deck, installing Led light fixtures etc. Several years ago the business put in hardwood floors throughout my unit. I asked for a recommendation for the wood. It is absolutely beautiful. The floor brightens the room like forsythia on a dull spring day. It is truly amazing and keeps me smiling. Everything Thomas Property does is quality. Work is done in a timely manner. I certainly recommend this company.

As a first-time home builder, I felt like they gave me all the tools I needed to confidently zero in on a plan that suited what I was envisioning in my head as well as the budget that I was working with. At no point did I feel like I was getting a sales pitch on ANY aspect of the process - this is a zero-pressure group that leaves you comfortably in the driver's seat. Before reaching out to the Fecteaus, I had explored other modular dealers and been left wanting, and when I saw all the glowing reviews online for Fecteau Homes, I had a good feeling that they would be different. I'm happy to report after having worked with them that all those five star reviews were borne out in my own experience, and I'm happy to include my own recommendation among the praise for this great group of true professionals.

Back in 2014 my wife and I began exploring homes in the greater Stowe area and reflecting back, it was a stroke of good fortune that we called Pete Kelly. Whether it was life events such our first child, irregular home inspection findings or unpredictable sellers; Pete and his father Joe never showed fatigue and never tried to rush us into anything. At times I had to scratch my head and wonder how such dedication could be profitable but Pete and Joe work on the "client first" principle placing profits second to people. Both Pete and Joe bring a rare combination of realty experience, business sense and good values to the table. In fact, as late as summer of 2016 they openly advised us to pass on a home we were enthusiastic about and raised some important considerations we were not seeing. Remember, this is over a year-and-a-half of showings, inspections, travel and leg-work after seeing dozens of homes. A lesser realtor would have been inclined to just get us into a home and move on. Right up to the end, Pete and Joe did not waver in their commitment to helping us buy a home that best met our specific criteria within our budget. Eventually we did find the right home and we instantly knew it was worth the effort and can see now that Pete and Joe helped us avoid some major pitfalls. As a bonus, the house even appraised for more than what we paid! Pete and Joe were a pleasure to work with and they know the greater Stowe community as well as the community knows them. Whether it was recommending a lender, a restaurant, car services, a handyman or hot tub; the invaluable help went far beyond what could be expected of a realtor. I would be more than happy to elaborate on our experience with The Kelly Realty Group with anyone who is serious about finding the right home at the right price.

When we hit a snag with the property, Pete was the sole voice of reason, and our only true advocate. Even though this transaction did not happen, Pete protected us and provided solid advice all along the way. This is a characteristic you don't find often in real estate agents, or at least you really hope to find it in your agent- someone that is really looking after your best interests even if it means the transaction is not going to work out. Pete and Joe are playing the long game - they know that true care for their clients will lead to consistent and future business. We are excited to continue to work with them. High marks!! Highly recommended. Look no further for an agent who will work on your behalf!

I emailed last week about a house for rent that was on their website and got an email reply that said EXACTLY THIS: "I believe the house has been rented and is no longer available but can call us to see any other listings we might have 802-223-8965 thank you" Using ABSOLUTLY NO PROPER GRAMMAR OR PUNCTUATION is the opposite of professional. Longer version: a couple of months ago, I wanted to buy a painting that a local Montpelier business had on their wall; they weren't sure how to handle the payment at the time, but after I got home (to Boston) they told me by email that I could send them a check and they'd hold the painting until I was next in Montpelier. I sent them the check, they cashed it - and then about a week later they went out of business! I only learned about this when I tried to call them about picking up the painting. I figured the painting was probably lost, but I managed to get the name of the business' property management company (i.e. Stone & Browning) from the Internet, and called them, in the hope that perhaps they could figure out where the painting had gone. The person who picked up was very sympathetic and put me through to Nick. On a Friday afternoon, Nick took time out of his day to track down the painting, and then he came in on a Saturday morning (outside his usual working hours) to hand it over to me, because I was heading back to Boston on the Sunday afternoon. So I can't speak to their property management skills from the perspective of a landlord or renter, but my experience in summer 2024 was that it was really easy to get in touch with them (even with a situation that was definitely non-standard), and they were extremely responsive and helpful, especially Nick.
