Well, over the 4 years they had to restore my car. Still never finished it. Gave them $35,000 over…read morethe 4 years. Was told need more money. need mor money . Nope that was it. Contract was for $36,900. My bad I gave them $35,000. 1. The paint job was terrible. Never wet sand and buffed. Put trim on that I had sent out to get polished which they were supposed to do. Put on with wrong fastener. 2. Wrong oil pan steering link hits. 3. Distributer hits firewall. 4. Lost my original seetbelts. Was told I'll get new ones, never did. 5. No disc brakes on the back Just the front. 6. Went from bench seats to bucket seats. Fender washers holding seats to the floor with long bolts underside. Looks terrible. 7. Never cleaned underside of car. just sprayed over dirt. 8. Wires hanging under dash never finished. 9. They put too high of a radiator in the car wasn't bolted down. Radiator cap hits the bottom of the hood. 4+ grand in parts that are missing. The owner Dave the dad promises you it will get done,one excuse after another why it's not done or getting worked on. I'm not one of those customers that hound them to get it done. I would go months without checking in on my car,and when I did nothing was done.But after four years was getting pathetic. Carl the son was a total ass all the time so I tried not to talk to him. The last I was told by Dave was they have all the parts and will be done in 3 weeks. 3 weeks go by . I called to come pick up the car. Dave asked me for more money the car isn done. That was it. I said I'm coming to get the car. Went to get it. Still in the same condition I last saw it months prior. Show up to get the car another employee I never had met starts running his mouth. I had to tell him to get out of my face. Was thinking what the heck,Is this how you do business? I had a very disappointing experience with this mechanic. Not only was the repair completed over 3…read morehours past the original ETA, but the pricing and service were extremely questionable. I was charged $285 for an airline repair plus 2 hours of labor, which seems excessive for the work performed. When I politely questioned the pricing, the mechanic responded unprofessionally and even threatened to remove the hoses, which felt completely inappropriate and intimidating. To make matters worse, they initially said they would not accept credit cards, but then suddenly did -- only to add a last-minute 5% credit card fee that was never disclosed upfront. Between the unexpected extra charge and the overall inflated billing, it felt like I was being double charged. Overall, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior made this a frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend getting clear written estimates and confirming payment terms beforehand, or considering a different shop altogether.
