Things didn't work out in the long run and it turns out that the size/style ring I had purchased retails for about 1/3 of what I had paid for it here. We had a great experience today. Lindsey was awesome. We brought in my daughters bracelet that broke, her ring that had some diamonds fall out and my ring for the every 6 months prong check and to get it sparkling again. I gave her my husband number since he bought 2 of the items, and it wasn't there. Gave her my number wasn't there. Gave her my daughters and nothing. That left my sons and daughter inlaw. I rarely give a bad rating, but this place deserves it. I recommend you look for better quality and better warranty options elsewhere. My two month old lightly tugged on the "14k gold" earrings that I bought for my wife. It was the first time she wore them. The earrings snapped from the middle. The quality is so poor that they snapped the first day she wore them. Luckily, I purchased "lifetime warranty". Good thing, right? I was so disappointed in the quality that I asked for my money back. I had them for about a week and my wife wore them for less than 3 hours. The answer was, "We don't do reimbursements. You paid for coverage so we can replace them." I agreed. As she's putting in the order for the replacement, she asked if I wanted warranty on the new set. I said, "No, it's ok I already bought it." That's when I was informed that it only covered the original set and it would be $150 to insure the new pair. I feel like they're professional scammers with proper license in place to sell. In February 2022 I went to Helzberg to get a custom engagement ring done. I had a 100-year old diamond ring and four smaller diamonds that belonged to my great-grandmother. I wanted them to attach two of the smaller diamonds onto the existing ring. I went in, no problem, everything seemed professional and good. The ring was finished a few days later than I had asked, but no biggie. I proposed about a month later, and she accepted. Two weeks after I proposed (aka two weeks after she started wearing it), she bumped her hand while doing laundry and broke one of the prongs. One of the small diamonds was lost. Luckily I had a replacement. I wasn't sure whether they'd reimburse me for the lost diamond, but I was sure that they'd fix it for free, considering how it was their setting that broke after just two weeks of wear. To my shock and disbelief, the lady we talked to (not the same lady who originally helped me plan the setting) said that they would charge me for the repair, because "the setting was good at the time it was made" and that the warranty didn't cover "normal wear and tear." Utter bs. Obviously the setting was not good if it failed after two weeks (and lost a priceless family heirloom). After we pointed this out, she changed her mind and didn't charge us. She did not seem at all concerned about her company's faulty setting, about the heirloom that was lost, and expressed annoyance to us multiple times. We did not feel like she cared about our problem (maybe because we were not a super pricey customer) and ended up feeling embarassed for a problem that had not been caused by us. Unfortunately, we also asked them to resize the ring. After these repairs, the prongs looked noticeably less stable and were noticeably less evenly spaced around the diamonds. Whatever. A few months later we moved to CT and it was too late to worry about it anymore. While sitting in the backyard reading (no bumping whatsoever) my fiancée realized one of the other diamonds fell out and was lost. Prong completely broken off. Two hundred-year-old diamonds lost within four months of use. Rather than trying to repair the obviously faulty setting, we started over with a new setting. I meant to write this review at the time when these events took place. I realize that writing almost a year later makes it less significant. I'm not hopeful that Helzberg will reimburse us for the second repair we had to do or for the two diamonds lost. I just want to let people know that we had a horrible experience with Helzberg and to hopefully encourage people to think twice before they go there. read more

I went in to find a nice simple necklace for my sister for her birthday. I was immediately greeted by Michelle with a warm smile and she was ready to help. I let her know what I was looking for, the price range I wanted to stay around and she helped me find the perfect necklace! She went out of her way to show me all the options that they currently offered. She also got her fellow sales associate to help her look around the store, and even went looking in the back at more inventory to show me all the options that they currently had. Cynthia or NC ( I generally butcher his name) are my go to, but the entire sales team is experienced & great. And the time or the money you intend to spend isn't important. (don't move in they have lives too) but they always help me choose the best items for me or my loved ones, and most of the time it isn't the most expensive gifts, it generally is what's going to look better on you or whoever the gift is for... I'm a multiple looker before I buy, they're now aware of this and always keep me informed of pricing or new selection. If I could give zero stars I would....So I've been through one of THE WORST customer service experiences ever with Helzberg Diamonds so buyer beware. I'm sharing this so people really know what a horrible company they are and to use a different company when buying your jewelry. In the end of July I dropped my ring off to be cleaned, inspected etc and went on vacation. I was called to come pick it up and when I got to the store on August 9th to pick up my engagement and wedding band....guess what....MY WEDDING BAND WAS LOST/MISPLACED. They weren't sure what happened, I stayed in the store while they looked through the outgoing jewelry to try to find mine. About 20-30 mins later it was determined it wasn't there and they asked for more time to look into it and I left. The Escondido store manager Arman called me That weekend and offered to send me a ring to wear in good faith as they located mine. He told me he thought he knew who had it and had called and was waiting for a call back. The following week I was updated with the news they were still trying to located my ring, but couldn't get ahold of the person and now have emailed them. Fast forward a MONTH LATER of me waiting the store manager Arman tells me they don't think they'll get the wedding band back. Y'all know I'm sentimental and this is my wedding band and I'm extremely sad but have had 4 weeks to cry and come to terms with the fact that this is what's happening. Arman tells me he can give me $100 gift card for my "patience" in addition to the ring he sent. I told him at this point $100 isn't going to cut it and that $500 minimum because this is my wedding band with extreme sentimental value....Armans reply well we did try to locate it....really!?! He calls me back hours later as I'm driving to AZ for a wedding and says he can do $400 and the ring. I told him I wanted to see the info for the ring before i could decide if this was the ring i was going to keep. He said more than once it's a very similar ring just with a higher carat weight which leads you to believe it's a comparable ring right!?! Again I ask for info on the ring and he finally emails me the sku number.....friends this replacement ring was $150 CHEAPER THAN MY CURRENT VALUATION SO HE WAS BASICALLY TRYING TO MISLEAD ME AND GIVE ME A CHEAPER RING FOR THEIR MISTAKE. They lose my wedding band and want to not provide compensation for that other than to replace the ring and then try to replace it with a cheaper ring so they profit from their mistake. They were going to PROFIT OFF OF THIS WHILE I WAS LEFT WITH A LESSER VALUE RING AND SORRY WE TRIED AND MAYBE A GIFTCARD THAT I HAD TO FIGHT FOR AND THEY MADE ME FEEL BAD ABOUT. This made me furious so i take it to customer care. The customer care representative Kristi apologizes and tells me the store policy is to offer me to choose my own ring or a corporate check which Arman never did although Helzberg will not tell me why their own store manager A didn't follow policy and B tried to rip me off. Somehow within 24 hours of talking to Kristi she was able to locate my ring and the people would drop it off in the next week and I would be notified when I could pick it up. She tells me that i will receive a $200 visa gift card for my experience and I told her I would discuss compensation once I see that it's my ring. Then within 5 mins of my conversation i email Kristi and tell her $200 isn't going to cut it and that this isn't about just the lost ring this is about their manager not following policy, me being lied to, and that their store tried to cheat me as a customer. She didn't reply to the email that was sent on the 6th. On Sept 12th 6 days later I email again asking if she's going to respond and if there's an update on whether I can pick up my ring. SIX DAYS You think they'd call their already upset and mistreated customer when the ring was in the store but nope. Right after my email I get a call from another customer care rep that Kristis on vacation and my ring is in the store. Another customer service mistake on their part. I wonder how long i would've waited to hear if my ring was in if i wouldn't have called. I went in and believe the ring is mine but didn't have their ring to return because compensation wasn't taken care of. So now they're adamant that I will only receive $200 for this whole ordeal. ALSO INTERESTING HOW ORIGINALLY ARMAN COULD GIVE ME $400 AND NOW AFTER EVEN MORE DRAMA AND THEM DROPPING THE BALL THEY'RE DOWN TO $200. So friends......be careful doing business with them. They don't care about the distress of the customer. Over 6 weeks of this mess, emotions, calls, emails, trips to their store etc and they want to give me $200. THEY ARE LIARS WHO LOOK OUT FOR THEIR OWN BUSINESS NOT THE CUSTOMER. It's sad too because our buying experience 10 years ago and a few months ago buying a necklace were great, but that's apparently when you're giving them money not having a problem. read more

My husband got my wedding band from here and the staff was really helpful. To get the ring sized they said two weeks. However it really is coming out to be three weeks. Which is a little excessive since so many other places state about 3-7 days. My husband talked to one of the guys there and he was trying to get it done sooner. I saw a lady walk to the back so after a few minutes I RUDELY asked "Ummm, excuse me, but is there someone else here that can help me." So he nicely replied back giving me a one minute finger and a smile. I was like "Oh crap! He's nice!!!! Ahhhh" in my head. Came in last week because a small stone on my engagement ring was missing. Took about five days for them to call us back and have it ready. Upon pickup, they told us that a stone was loose so they tightened it up. But within 30 minutes of having the ring back, one of the bigger stones literally popped off. I've been having it for two years and never had a problem with it being loose. I was bit upset, so we went back the next day to let them know what had happened. The manager apologized and took the ring back to get it fixed right away. Literally took 30 minutes for them to fix it and I made sure that nothing was loose.
