This is a decent get-to-know Helsinki bus tour that is included with the Helsinki Card. It is good to get one's bearings in an unfamiliar city and covers a fair amount of sights that you can go back and explore in more detail on your own. It makes two very quick stops, the first at the Rock Church (pretty cool but no need to go back) and the Sibelius Monument (which is somewhat removed from downtown and again, no need to go back). The young woman, Petra, who was our "guide", was more of a shepherd making sure none of her "sheep" strayed. The tour itself is via multi-lingual headsets.
The bus was clean and comfortable, and as I said this tour is included with the Helsinki Card, so go for it. I don't know if paying for it a la carte is worth it, though. read more
