If I could give NEGATIVE 10 I would. Please, please, please do not go to this place if you are…read moreserious about mental health services of any kind. The VA sent me here for marital counseling and I quickly discontinued services because the counselor told my wife to leave me multiple times due to my mental health, not bad treatment. Then I tried to get my records for continuity of care for my psychiatrist and my VA claim. They tried to charge me $27 for 4 sheets of paper. They end up giving it to me for free after a 20 minute back and forth (one lady came to the front and said those notes belong to the counselor and she didn't think patients should have THEIR OWN records.) girl what...?! LOL. Anyway, I open the package and it's 4 pages of scribble scrabble. I called them back to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing and the office manager said that's how they do it and the notes are only for the counselor and not for any other purpose but to remind the counselor of the sessions. I said so if this is some sort of health care facility similar like going to the Dr. and they have notes, they would chart it electronically. Why would you not do the same because it's 2025....? How can my psychiatrist effectively treat me if she can't read what a licensed therapist is saying about my mental health progress?? She said oh well not my problem and hung up in my face. Not only was the counselor terrible at her job (and charting), the office is ran like it's stuck in 1982. I will be reporting them to the Veterans Advocate to remove them from the community care list. IDK why they would even send me to this low budget mental health place in the first place.

You get a familiar family feed, the receptionist is so friendly and welcoming, and the doctors are compassionate & knowledgeable; not giving dangerous old fashioned meds or trying to make a quick buck. This isn't a pill mill if that's what you're looking for. They listen to the patient and aren't afraid to take you Suggestions into account.

Jennifer likes to demean her clients, talk over them and gets frustrated at the smallest things. Jennifer would do well going back to whatever "credentials" that she has in counseling and relearning the basics because it is very evident counseling is not her strong suite.
