I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with his office. I would never go back and I would not recommend anyone to him. He is actually a nice person, but he will try experimental treatments, and I gave him all my records and treatment plan from the past 4 years and he immediately changed it. Cut my medication in half and wouldn't take my past experience with certain medications into account. His staff of nurses are the worst I have ever dealt with, with one exception. His surgical nurse was outstanding, but his primary desk nurse is horrible. She is judgmental and will blab about your condition or treatments at full volume in front of the entire waiting room. I have never been as horrified or as embarrassed as she made me feel. She also controls the Doctor. I went back once for a refill of a non narcotic medication that is not abusable. Dr. Rahimi's office closes for almost a month during the summer and this medication was going to run out while he was on vacation. It was 8 days before my current prescription ran out and I explained I needed it while he was going to be gone. She essentially called me a junkie in front of everyone in the waiting room. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR if you are a US Citizen. I can't make it clear enough. They are horrible.

I was referred to him by an…read moreAmerican contractor who has resided in the KL for well over a decade--in other words, he's run into enough doctors to know who is good and who is not. His office accepts private insurance coverage, provides commonly required child inoculations/immunizations, and is staffed by personnel who speak enough English to schedule and complete appointments. And, most importantly: Dr. Kripp is excellent with children, has wonderful bed-side manners, and exhibits a calm demeanor that eases both children and parents alike--espeically helpful when administering shots. I hope you'll find, as I and my did, that he is not rushed, methodicl, yet relaxed in his work. His practice is worth the travel into what can be a busy area with street-side parking in Kaiserslautern. Please keep in mind: 1) Appointment guarantees service. IDK about walk-ins, call ahead. 2) It often gets crowded; he's that good, and is worth the wait. 3) Even if it is crowded, Dr. Kripp tends to move efficiently through his appointments. I've rarely waited beyond 20 min past my scheduled appointment time.
