I came here on my wedding day to do my makeup and they did a very terrible job. The lady does not know how to do eyeliner. It was uneven and the wings were bent. I had to ask her if I could do it myself because she did two bad attempts. She waits to do the bottom mascara last, so then the excess mascara gets on my face and then we have to mess up the foundation. She didn't have powder foundation to set the foundation so it would have just faded off. The mascara she used was dry and when she applied it, it was like nothing. I wasted over an hour and a half doing makeup with this lady because she did not know what she was doing. I had to go home to fix it. This took me too much time and it put me behind on my wedding day. One of the other hairstylists had her eyeliner and makeup done very well yet they did such a bad job on me.. they know what good makeup looks like and they choose to give me messy makeup. Another thing.. the pictures they post on their website of people who have had their makeup done there are deceitful. I left this place in tears. I always make sure I have good makeup every day before I leave home yet this lady tried to make me look horrible on my wedding day of all days. read more

I first came to Hello Gorgeous for my bridal shower hair. They were so nice and accommodating and offered a mimosa. Me and my best friend immediately loved the place! For unforeseen circumstances my hair people canceled 4 weeks before my wedding. Devastating. I remembered Hello Gorgeous and jumped at the opportunity to get them for my big day. I was fortunate enough to have them do my Hair for my wedding at my location for me and my bridesmaids. They were right on time and finished early. All the girls are amazing & we all LOVED our hair! For my wedding, Jordan did a retro style pinup hair-do for me (as well as a hair trial about 2 months out); and Ashley did retro style make-up. I have never felt more beautiful or received more compliments. It was one of the hottest days of June 2019, and what felt like one of the windiest, but my makeup stayed on point and my hair stayed in place for the big day, lasting well past when it needed to. Also the communication via email with Erika before hand to make sure that myself and my bridesmaids would be in good hands and taken care of was fantastic! I received excellent customer service the moment I walked in. The salon is cute and more importantly clean. My stylist, Shannon, was friendly and listened to what I wanted for a blowout. Before you decide to schedule an appointment, please read about my negative experience with Hello Gorgeous based on my past 3 appointments: 1st appointment - Confirmed immediately, scheduled and started on time, etc. (what you'd expect) 2nd appointment - Scheduled for 9:00 AM on a Saturday morning and I arrived on time. However, I sat in the lobby waiting on my stylist to arrive for OVER AN HOUR...... She apologized and did a good job, so I just thought what I experienced was an exception to their typical service 3rd appointment - Booked online for Memorial Day (no need to have to take off work - awesome!) Afterwards, I received an email to confirm my appointment and another appointment reminder on Sunday. I went to the appointment as scheduled on Monday only to find the SALON WAS CLOSED. I called and left a voicemail explaining what had happened and asked what I should do for re-scheduling and left my contact information. On Tuesday, I thought I would hear from the salon soon after they opened. No such luck. By lunch time, still no call. I called again, no answer, so I left another voicemail. I finally received a call back from the hair stylist after 7 PM. She left a voicemail apologizing for the misunderstanding and offered two options for re-scheduling an appointment. Once I heard the voicemail, I returned the call. No answer, so I left another voicemail. In addition, I sent a text message saying that it seemed like we were playing phone tag and mentioned I was unavailable at the two times she offered and asked if she had any availability on another day. NO REPLY. It's now Wednesday and I still haven't heard back. I typically wouldn't write negative reviews, but what I've experienced was absolutely TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! read more

Don't come expecting the type of Round Brush blow-out that you get from Blo or Dry Bar ~ but I've still left liking my hair each time. The stylists are friendly & attentive, the salon is gorgeous and clean. While there, I've watched H.S. Girls leaving for Prom or Homecoming.. each one looking beautiful with Hair & Make-up done. This salon is absolutely ridiculous! I called to make a maintenance appointment on my hair extensions and get a blow out and sat on the phone for over 30 MINUTES while the girl checked the notes on my account to make sure she got the timing (and there for price) correct to book my appointment. Then I get a call from the owner the next day telling me the girl was wrong and the service is over 100$ more than what I was told (after waiting) and that I have to put almost 200$ down to book the appointment (due to a "no show" that they insist happened but never told me about). Overall the girls do good work on hair but the service I was provided and way I was treated by the owner in this situation are deplorable and reminiscent of a company who does not value their clients at all. (By the way I, as the customer, said I was fine paying the price increase but that I would not put a deposit down given I never actually had a no show) read more
