Overall, this was a nice little surprise in a relatively quiet town. The staff was extremely…read morefriendly and went out of their way to accommodate some foreigners who did not speak the local language. We had the "small" salad which was more than enough for two followed by a prosciutto pizza and vegetarian pizza. The crust was perfect! If you are looking for some Italian in Germany, I recommend this place.

Impressive interior design, maybe the classiest German/beer restaurant in Karlsruhe :)…read more The drinks menu offers an extensive selection of beers, including several craft ones from microbreweries, so you can try something new every time you visit! The food, however, needs improvement (and it's not cheap either). The schnitzel (12.90€) would benefit from better fries or a potato salad instead of the typical "industrial" fries that came with it. The burger (9.90€+3.50€ for the same fries) was somewhat better, but still nothing special.

Summer rolls were small and didn't have much taste. Again, lack of fresh ingredients that make Vietnamese food so delicious. There was barely any green papaya in the Green Papaya Salad. Again, expensive for almost nothing. Beer was warm. Is unfortunate there's no good Vietnamese restaurant in Speyer...
