This is a family owned park where artists work to build sculptures of anything that their imagination can create, all out of metal. The shop where they do their work is on the grounds, and visitors can walk the trails and witness the work being done live. There is a lot of abstract art, and it's all beautiful. If you do a full walk through, you will surely find pieces that speak to you. I don't know what it's called, but there is one that is either really called Sun Goddess, or I just call it that. It's beautiful, and has been there on both of my visits, which were about 10 years apart. The sculptures are generally metal, with some being metal and stone, and some worked into trees or other bits of nature. Some have clearly repurposed old pieces of metal, which is nice to see. It does seem to have had a few pieces move or change over a long period of time, which could be for any number of reasons. I think it's the sort of place that would offer you something different if you visited during different seasons. It's worth the trip!

This is the only private club in Bloomington and over 500 families are members there.  I have…read moreplayed golf there several times too.  After high school I was briefly the lifeguard in the "old pool". One of my good friends was an avid golfer, lived there and was a life long member and former President of the club.  Some of my family are members too.  Nice course, nice pool, very nice clubhouse.  People need to realize that the focus of the management is serving the members and their guests. The food is great and the staff is friendly and attentive -I enjoy dinner there anytime I get a chance to go. I especially love their filet mignon and their drinks.  It is good value for your money. If you want to connect to old money or new money Bloomington-this is the place you should be-so get invited by a member or join.

The theatre itself is very small, holding about 75 people. The stage is rounded and exposed, which is perfect for intimate shows where you want to see everything that's going on and not miss a thing. I love that they take a risk and stage completely new plays. I've seen about 4 different productions here, and I thought 3 of the 4 were excellent. As Adam N, mentioned, it's not uncommon for shows to be sold out. The theater is pretty small and some of the seats aren't ideal if you have long legs so grab a seat early. The theater often partners with local businesses to offer free food or drinks in the lobby before the show. Or there may be IU students doing improv in the lobby, depends on the day. The BPP is one of my favorite things about Bloomington.

Had an absolute blast attending the second night of the LCF17. We went to see Fortune Feimster at…read morethe Buskirk. The opening acts were hilarious too. Fortune had everyone laughing and her interaction with the audience was great. After the show she sold her own merch in the lobby, signed autographs and posed for photos. This was our first time attending the Limestone Comedy Fest and we are hooked. Looking forward to next year. Thinking getting the multi-show pass next year would be a great idea.
