This bakery is all over Southern Germany - even small towns have at least 1, and often 2 or 3 within walking distance of each other. In any case, they serve a good variety of not-too-sweet pastries and breads. Nothing out of this world, but a good place to stop (we were in the area doing some wine tasting) when you're in the mood for something sweet. We got 2 - the hefestreusal and a chocolate/raisin roll (think cinnamon roll without the cinnamon.) Both were tasty and hit the spot. read more

Cafe Ihringer is a wonderful place, located on the central square in town. I have been there…read moremultiple times, and every visit has been delightful. Their pastries are wonderful, as beautiful to the eye as they are tasty. The lunch meals are plentiful and the staff are very polite. And it's a wonderful place to enjoy coffee and something sweet, or enjoy a marvelous meal. I have been there two years in a row, and it has been incredible both visits!
