Last week my daughter had a procedure there that I should have been passed to an oral surgeon- and she had a very adverse reaction and we ended up in the ER. When I called the office seeking help-- all i got was their assurance that she just needed to follow the protocol and would improve the next day. It was deeply upsetting episode and htey never checked in the next day to see how she was. I missed 2 days of work, now have over a $10k ER bill and that is on top of no dental insurance for the procedure (the clerk told me she would bill them and maybe they would pay). It was denied but LHD was paid up front. I am pulling all of my family out of this practice- sad because very kind people there but all behind a veneer of push, sell, make money. Feel like they have been bought by a private equity firm.

While I was having the procedure done, the dentist did several other procedures without asking my permission. When I went to check out I was charged for the additional procedures, which totaled $200 above the original quote. When I asked about the discrepancy the dentist came out and offered a 10% discount. They didn't seem to have any respect for the large amount of monetary difference, or that insurance wouldn't be covering it and I would be paying out of pocket for the extra $200. The first business on the list was Smiles at France. I looked at their website and was immediately certain that they were the sort of place you'd trust to fix your smile teeth based upon their before and after photos. Although it was after hours late Saturday, I called and left a voicemail asking for someone to call me early Monday if possible, as I was available Monday and desperate to fix my tooth. Imagine my surprise when a friendly dentist, Dr. Cook, called me on Sunday--from home! He understood my distress, and instructed me to send him a cell phone photo of my tooth damage, and set up an appointment for me on Monday afternoon. Dr. Cook and his staff were very friendly and kind to me, and best of all, you wouldn't believe what Dr. Cook did for my tooth. It looks so very good that I just can't tell now matter how closely or carefully I look? ANY difference between this tooth and my "real" teeth.
