My favorite wines are from the Beaujolais region or the burgundy region / Cotes de Rhône. I look for these in liquor stores, but all too often just have one or two or three to choose from. But here, I had so many to choose from that it was hard. I was able to but a Domaine Faiveley Mercurey at a good price (actually $1.00 less than google says I should pay). Then I looked for the Beaujolais. Oh my word. They had so many. I have fallen in love.

Yesterday I had decided to make a particular, summery drink--a Hawaiian Mimosa I found on Pinterest. I first ran in to Target to get chunks of pineapple and some pineapple juice. No plain pineapple juice unless I bought it warm--my friends were waiting, so we'd have to add ice to our drinks. Darn! Since I was in a hurry, I called Camelot and asked for Malibu Rum and LaMarca Prosecco. Do you have them?--yes, they had both. So I asked if they could put them in the cooler until I got there. Sure, they said. I arrived a good 30-40 minutes later. I told the gentleman I had called and he grabbed my 2 bottles--anything else? Well, I said, this is a dumb question, but do you have any COLD pineapple juice? Sure, in the beer cave, several choices....I couldn't believe my luck....so....how about hurricane glasses? Sure. Need any umbrellas for those glasses? Fun! Do you need cherries to go with the pineapple chunks you told me about? Terrific! Just by asking me what I was making and a few other questions, they went from a good store to an epic store! I had beautiful, fun drinks and everything was ice cold. I could've run to any store in Edmond, where I live. But Camelot was worth the drive! Their people are their best asset. Helpful and courteous, even helped carry my purchases to my car. Thanks Camelot!
