Heeley City Farm is a registered charity based in the Heeley District of Sheffield. It's a place of teaching and learning.
The staff teach local community residents and visitting students, some of whom have learning difficulties, how to grow and care for plants of numerous species. They are also taught how to handle and care for a mixture of rare breed animals.
The farm is open to the general public. You may walk around the farm at your own pace, feed some of the animals with special food bought on site. If there's anything about the farm or it's animals that you want to know ask any member of staff.
The farm has a cafe that sells a wide variety of fresh "home grown" produce, to eat in or off the premises. There's also a garden centre that sells a wide variety of plants, shrubs, saplings, flowers. read more
