A friend told me that they always use Jameson Shoe Repairs of Louth, so I thought I would make a special trip to Louth to see if they could do the repair. They were very helpful and knowledgable and soled and heeled my boots within the 3 hours I stayed in town for. I also had my door key cut which was half the price of elsewhere too and worked spot on. They sell boots, shoes, slippers and various accessories including shoe polish etc. They do all sorts of shoe repairs and will give advice on the best type of repair and offer very reasonable prices. They also repair other types of leather items such as restitching straps on bags etc. You can give a favourite item a new lease of life and save money too. They also cut keys and are able to cut many different ones. This really is a very useful little shop.

I have been using this shop for years, my parents and grandparents also did, its not like the…read morenormal shoe repair shops that you see on high streets, this is a traditional shoe repair shop with new an old methods being used, over the years i have taken everything from old boots to a horse saddle for repair and each time i'm shocked how new everything is made to look. They also sell new footwear, bags, accessories, key cutting, engraving etc. The owner Peter is now 70 ish i think and still serves you with the same passion he did when i was 9 years old (40 years ago). If you need footwear or leather goods repairing or just need a key cut then i recommend you pop in to Littles.

I asked for a discount and they said it was cheaper than the dealer anyway. I asked them if they could do it for a £50 and to my surprise they said ok! They cloned my key, which has got a transponder chip inside it. It worked a treat becuase we have got only one key for our car. I used them once before to have my house key cut and they told me about an offer of having two cuts for seven pounds fifity pence instead of one for ten pounds , which is ok with me. Ten I asked them if they do a better offer, and they said, 'yeah, 3 for ten!' I was so happy to have 3 keys for a tenner!

A pair of tall boots bought for my girlfriend as a Christmas present were a little too tall for her diminutive frame and so I was looking to get around half an inch taken off the top. The shoemaker in question was quick to point out it was not an easy job, as they are machined leather throughout, but he would give it his best shot. However the resulting job was perfect, exactly as requested and very well finished and stitched. The price was only £15 and they were back within two days. I think the exclamation mark in their name is warranted after all.
