I had zero expectations, and I cannot rave ENOUGH about this place. When you get there they run through all the safety rules, and how the session is going to go. They were so clear and knowledgeable about everything, I didn't even have any questions! The guys that worked there (we found out later they were volunteers)- were honestly the best part of the experience! We had one girl in our group that was pretty nervous, and they were so good about being near her and helping her have fun. I could have talked to them for hours! You can tell they genuinely love being at the gun club, esp since they are coming in as volunteers. And they were just beyond friendly and helpful. I found a new skill that I never knew I had- and I loved every minute of it! We ended up going another round since the first was so great. Paying is super simple too, I was able to venmo them but they accept cash as well. I was sad to leave but if I ever make it back to Park City, I will definitely be taking my crew back to Kama's!

I think I might pick up the hobby. Great location super friendly instructor. Wish I lived here to go here more often.

The pistol range has a huge variety of reactive steel and paper set up out to 50 yards. 100 yard area with 20+ benches, but the beauty and awe of this range is that you can shoot out to 2,000 yards! Main area has two sides with large steel and reactive gongs out to 600 yards, and just to the left it goes out to 1,000. Steel every 50 yards, and simply blow the horn 3 times to go cold, turn on the red flashing light, and drive your truck or one of their golf carts out to the targets. Go around by the Shotgun Range and LongRangeShooters of Utah has set up 1,200, 1,500, and 1,760 (1 mile) challenges. Again, another covered shooting area with cement floor and 5 benches. 5-Stars WAY up! Only 2hours from SLC, Ut and $10 (cash) to shoot. Great restroom facilities, Safety Office is s stud, and you can pick up targets at the range.

Great place to practice drawing and shooting from the holster concealed or open. You police yourself and others in your team. Don't forget the 4 gun safety rules. Minor complains is I wish all shooting bays were open and functional. Some of the steel targets didn't drop because it was stuck, while some didn't have the rope attached to pull it back up. Next time I'll bring rifles to shoot on the rifle range. They got up to 1k yards! I do wish that there was an operator to operate the moving targets in the Leo range. When there are no LEOs using the range. This will be the best thing the county can do and I don't mind paying a little extra. Such great opportunity to practice on moving targets.

The Armory is...and will be...our go-to location for weapon suggestions, as well as parts & accessories, but more importantly for great customer service and solid guidance and professional suggestions on best-fit components for our particular self-defense needs. Dalton helped explain to my wife all the features of the new pistol, especially the unique DA/SA trigger-pull arrangement associated with the Cherokee, and how trigger pull works with the loaded weapon. That, and how she should get a proper two-handed grip on the pistol using first her right hand to secure a solid purchase on the upper part of the grip followed by the proper wrap of the left hand around the grip/right hand to provide a solid and stable grip to the pistol. That, and after asking Dalton about training courses, he recommended one of his The Armory colleagues for training classes for my wife (and likely me as well...). He provided a card for Sit Aware Tactical training (S. Scolari) and that contacting him would be in our best interests in setting up a course for both of us. 30-minutes later - and after paying the FFL Transfer Fee - my wife was the proud owner of her first weapon. She looks forward to the arrival of her 9mm bulk range ammo, upcoming training courses with Sit Aware, and heading to the desert for some target practice (nest Spring anyway...) Five Stars for calm, professional, no-B.S. support and guidance...and my wife's new semi-auto! Thanks, Dalton and The Armory!
