Brides and Grooms, BEWARE! This woman should not be used for your big day. She is unprofessional, unreliable and unstable. Distraught and unsatisfied clients from months ago have yet to get their paid-for galleries. The ones I have seen have some good shots, but a lot of the photos are unflattering, over-edited (i.e. too dark, features nearly airbrushed completely out). It isn't worth the handful of beautiful shots and having her act embarrassingly in front of your family or guests.
She knowingly has mental issues (which several clients have empathized with) that have hindered her from delivering the way a professional photog should and she is still taking on clients. Even though there are several clients without their images from months ago! Do some research on Facebook. This woman was fired publicly from a cloth diaper company for posting insensitive things that had people labeling her a racist. She claimed someone made a fake profile and posted on her behalf which is debunked by looking at her responses to people.
She recently posted a video to her business page on Facebook that she forces herself to cry for sympathy because concerned family members of clients called her out for not getting people their work. She claimed she was in the hospital for months (for sympathy) but her personal Facebook videos, photos, rants, etc. prove otherwise. If she was having all of these issues, it was her responsibility to these families to have someone stand in so that they don't have to think of this horrible memory along with their preserved memories. She even implicated that people had apparently wished her dead. Not true. She deleted the family's comments and posted a manipulative video for sympathy. She seems like she doesn't want to be held accountable. It isn't fair to unknowing families to charge them this amount of money if there is a chance they could hire someone in a place more capable to get the job done.
Heather claims these people are sending hate mail. Also not true. She will take advantage of your good nature for as long as you allow her to. Once you put your foot down and stand up to her, she becomes nasty. She is only sweet publicly and for as long as you will let her get away with making excuses. She has been posting old work of clients who haven't even gotten their product to try and get new work in the Boise area. BEWARE! read more
