Hospice Alliance was an invaluable resource for our family during our time of need. When in home…read morehospice care was no longer a good fit, H.A. became our go-to. The facility has a very comfortable and warm aura despite its name. There are fewer than 12 rooms, a large dining area, full kitchen and room with space for families, particularly small children needing space to unwind and play. Staff members Mohamed, Shannon and Jillian were gems. Their care and concern during this time is something my family and I will never forget. Our love ones last few days on this earth were far more comfortable than they were at home. One would hope that very FEW people have the occasion to need a hospice facility for themselves or loved one, but should the necessary occur this is certainly an option worth giving strong consideration.

However, we interacted the most with Grace who was on-call at the time we engaged them and helped my Dad a good bit during his last couple of days. Grace was super patient with us when we asked lots of questions about his care and hospice in general. LifeChoice also provided a rabbi for us and I think my father really appreciated that the rabbi visited with him for over an hour. I think they provided my father a lot of peace and comfort during his final days. My only regret was not engaging them sooner. Their whole demeanor and attitude is that of angels, compassion, empathy, love..When he was in the hospital, he was not receiving the proper pain management, they kept delaying the hospitals hospice program while my dad was dying in pain. I was desperate to get him home. Alena, the administrator, moved mountains to make that happen. They got my dad home in less than 18 hours, they were by my father's bedside within two hours of me calling desperate for help, which felt like a miracle during such a difficult time. Daniel, the nurse who came to the hospital, was so attentive and caring such a such a genuine person. And once we were home, nurse Julie and nurse Grace took over and truly went above and beyond. They made sure the bed oxygen tanks supplies and meds was delivered before my dad even got home.They made sure my dad was comfortable, out of pain, and surrounded by dignity and respect--something he was not receiving in the hospital. there was also a Sweet CNA that came to help as well, Because of them, my dad was able to pass peacefully at home, just as he deserved. That means everything to me my father and our family. All of my father's friends and loyal family were able to come visit with him before he passed the next morning.. I highly recommend this hospice agency to anyone going through end-of-life care for a loved one--or even for themselves. Don't wait until the last minute. There is always someone there to ask questions and monitor the health of all patients. Parking is tricky as they don't validate and have valet. There are plenty of metered parking nearby.

i never could imagine the a Care Facility would have no reguared to the welfare of there Resdents,…read moreim one of these Residents, I hav to self Cath myself , i have been using Single Use Catheters pryor to my arrival to Kenosha Estates , id had 4 BLADDER INFECTIONS because they the Staff an the Nurses have been making me hand wash my Catheter so i can reuse the Catheter multiple times , I had nochoose in the matter , no matter how much i complained , in return i had 4 trips to the ER for Bladder Infections an the 4th time resulted in a very high fever do to the forth Bladder Infection that needed me to stay at the Hospital for FOUR DAYS.... I highly recommend that choosing Kenosha Estates Rehab Center should not be a option !!!I could say much more about this place , but my fingers would be to sore from typing....i not only choose to not give it any STARS i would put them two Stars in the hole!!!

I was promised 24/7 care for wife that has dementia after hospitalization. I was lucky if the caregivers showed up 50% of the time. I finally had to drop them and find other services. They will promise you the world, but can not deliver. People in office are very nice...but hands are tied. One person they sent had one job, stay by my wife's side so she did not take off bandage...could not handle that, left room to take a break, luckily nursing home staff stopped, saw that my wife had removed bandages and ambulance had to be called. I have more...but you get the idea.
