He was always pleasant, friendly, informative, professional, and generous with his time. We would chat about aviation or the Navy or other things. He took time to answer all my questions and seemed happy to see me. Since his death I saw others in the practice, which was fine, but now the office (recently bought by Cooper) has closed. I called for a script for antibiotics for diverticulitis,which was becoming very painful, and having been a patient there for 35 years, and having gone through this before, they told me they would renew the script since the following day was a holiday. They didn't. A week later I got a message that they would not be renewing it. Had to go someplace else in the meantime. Now I'm searching for a new gastro. I'm sure I'll never find another doc more engaged and friendly than Dr. Spaar. He was the best doctor I ever knew.

I had an appointment WOULD NOT SEE ME. He is impossible to get ahold of . The office staff is a uncoordinated mess! After having a PA TELL ME NOT TO GO BACK TO WORK BCBOF COVID. They put the incorrect date on my disability paperwork. I wWAS NOT PAID FOR SEVEN MONTHS. My discharge visit lasted 10 minutes when I showed him my previously functioning foot was not unable to use. He said" I have no idea I am a surgeon!!" I asked if I should see neurologist and he said" good luck getting an appointment!!!" My PT had to write my work restrictions bc he had not seen me and said no restrictions when I could not even walk!!! I hope to commence litigation but need to find another doctor to say he messed up!!!! Please do not put yourself at risk!

I came down with something a few days ago-don't know if its COVID, a sinus infection or whatever but I feel absolutely awful and am self quarantining. Yesterday I called Shore Urgent Care to see if they were COVID testing. The message said they were testing till 8pm. EXCELLENT. I go over there. I walk in and in a very raspy voice (thats how I sound with whatever this is) that I was there for a COVID test. There were only two people in the waiting room. The woman behind the desk asked if I registered on line. I replied that I hadn't. That I had called and there was no mention of registering on line. She said "yes there is." UH. No there was wasn't I replied (now keep in mind my voice is barely above a whisper.) I did adopt a nasty tone because she was so snotty about it. I was gonna tell her to call the number for the office and listen forherself. Before I had the chance this guy pops up from an alcove area behind the desk. He said something (I honestly dont recall what it was). I said again it doesn't tell you to register on line. The guy was getting hostile. Guess he thought I would be intimidated. NOT even a little Scrabby Do. BUT being the bigger person I went out to my car and did try to register on line. To no avail. So I called. The woman (not either of the women from the front desk) said they were through for the afternoon. I ended up at Galloway Urgent Care and while it was a ridiculously long wait the personnel could not have been nicer. Thank you Galloway Urgent Care. Your review is next.

Now Cooper has closed this local office and I can't find a decent gastro around here. But when he was here he was very thorough and explained things well. rosman completely fell off of the face of the earth. no notice was given…read more , people apologizing for him advised me that i must have moved and left no forwarding address. BS, i never moved. on my last visit, a low level staffer who supplanted. him, dismissed me with the suggestion of a home test. i never heard back from them after that home test result(positive). not trusting rosman, et al, i retested and blood was found in the test sample. i know he looked liked methuselah, but i paid handsomely for his work.

Always hard to review a medical team on the first visit but here I go…read more My daughter is here on a referral and I was totally stunned to find a front office staff that smiled while working with us on the paperwork. I am so used to being 'put in my place' by unfriendly types at medical offices' front desks. These ladies smile and laugh among themselves when not helping patients. The waiting area is very clean and set up in a professional manner. There are photo'd of each doctor on display along with a copy of their med school degree. TV is there for patients but it isn't overwhelming. A water cooler is available to refresh dry throats. And, now we await the medical consult ...
