This trip they had no raspberries and only very tiny strawberries which I wouldn't choose to buy if the regular size ones were there. There have been occasions where the head lettuce is terrible and I go to Sobeys and buy my fresh produce as I can always count on getting what I want there. I appreciate that the store is kept clean and the staff is pleasant. A big thanks to the lady in the bakery who went over and above to get some chocolate chip cookies for me.

Used to shop here almost exclusively. Employees are friendly and store is clean; however, pricing…read moreis all over the place. Got sick of making purchases here and then finding the exact same items for as much as 4 dollars less at Superstore! This is for regular priced pc brand items, not items on sale. The latest issue was Morello's showed product on sale on their website; however, when I went to the store the price was different. The next day the price online was still showing on sale so I phoned and was told the item just went on sale that day (?) and would be on sale for the next seven days. Five days later the price had changed again. It not only was not on sale anymore, but had increased in price over and above the regular pricing. I called again and was simply told 'well that is the price then'. I am on a fixed income and pricing matters to me. That being said, I don't mind paying a little more for a better shopping experience; although, walking out of a store that leaves me feeling like I have just been ripped off is not the experience I am looking for. This is not an isolated incident with this store. I have experienced other head scratching issues over the past few years. This is just the last one I feel like shrugging off. Unfortunately I am now done shopping here. If it doesn't matter to you how much items cost, then you should be happy purchasing your groceries at Morello's. As I mentioned, the store is clean and the people are friendly. Too bad they leave you feeling like you don't matter at all to them.

The exterior is built well and has definite curb appeal. The inside has great selection and the prices are fair. They have an LLB license and have a cooler in the back for cold drinks. They have great selection of snacks, merchandise, gear, and much more. This store is essential to everyone, is inviting, and very interesting to be inside! I would suggest this place to anyone and I will always bring my friends here when they come up. 5 Stars!

This product is sold regularly at NO FRILLS and FRESHCO for between $1.77 and $1.99 a box. Even METRO which is always expensive, sell this same product for around $2.29. If the government is REALLY SERIOUS about curtailing "robbery at the store" it should start with places like Foodland. It may be convenient to be located - it's just not convenient to steal customer money.

Very good selection of Kawartha Ice cream for those of us that really enjoy it (LOL).

On Saturday, my dear friend and I were talking about our love for Giant Tiger. She had mentioned…read morethat I need to check out this specific store. I did after I visited her at the hospital. This Giant Tiger has plenty of parking spots. It is in a plaza. I am envious that Peterborough has a Giant Tiger. Markham lost its lone store eons ago. This store is fantastic! This store is a gem. I have never seen small, paired, regular, and gigantic Squishmallows all under one roof in my life. I was in Squishmallows heaven! Prices were decent. This store also has a large variety of Tim Hortons items. I didn't realize that you can get Timmy's soups these days. It also has Timmy's-branded coffee and hot chocolate. Walking around this store made me want to pick up knitting and crocheting. There were deals on yarn, from bundled to large skeins. I needed hand soap. I got two bottles of foaming hand washes. I'm still curious about how fresh snow smells as a scent. My favourite bagged cereal is at Giant Tiger. I like the honey cinnamon the best, but will eat all varieties. The grocery section is amazing. It has items that I haven't seen at Giant Tiger stores that I often frequent. The CRAVE line of lasagna, and mac and cheese all looked delicious! I like the prices at Giant Tiger. You can save a bit and not sacrifice on quality. I had a nice woman cash me out. She gave me a bag for free. I am so used to putting stuff in my own bag and waving off the bag fee. I love this store.
