A bit nervous before as I had never tried bliss face products before I went and filled in a little questionaire about my skin and skincare. I was asked what my preferences were and which parts of my skin I wanted particular attention to. When Micha started the treatment I was looking forward to it. The products she used were good for my skin and the way she applied them felt professional. One reason I will only give 4 stars here is that I did not really know what was happening to me. She did not say what she was using or which step would follow but instead just went ahead. That is maybe a suggestion for the future. Apart from that I had a really good experience. Good music from Beyonce was playing in the background and the service was professional. The facial was GBP 50 for 50 minutes which is a reasonable price. My skin felt great afterwards and especially my eye area felt very hydrated. Thanks for the treatment and with just some small changes, this could become my regular place for a facial.

The Aqua Vibe treatment is, at it's core, a water bed massage of lights and sound. The theories of the centre are holistic so those who are heavily into yoga and reiki - this will be up your street. Back to my experience. When I got there, I was feeling fine, just bit fatigued. Got an explanation by the two lovely staff members/practitioners and hopped on the water bed. Ear phones and light show eyewear on, I was ready, err... Well the lights were so bright it was like looking into the sun even though my eyes were closed. A quick adjustment and restart of my 20min session. Can I say I achieved some kind of enlightenment? No. Can I say the light show was probably what one experiences on magic mushrooms? Probably. What I can say certainly is, that I did feel different after; kind of happier but this was short lived and likely down to the suggestive consultation. The venue is clean, crisp and very holistic with candles and soft aromas. You feel a bit clinical but calm at the same time in there. They offer other services along the lines of diet, stress management, energy patterning (whatever that is) and massages. I'm giving it 3 stars because it was my first time which was a freebie mind trip.
