He's also picked us up on a holiday before (NYE) which was so appreciated. It's nice to have the peace of mind of having pre-arranged transportation to and from the airport, since ride share (especially since the pandemic) has been less reliable in our area. Cars are clean, spacious, and the rides are quiet (which I personally prefer). The drivers find you in the airport on arrival, and walk you to the car, often even helping with bags (which is above and beyond), as opposed to leaving you to figure out where to go. We did have a hiccup once with a booking, but the response and customer service was good for resolving. Otherwise, service is reliable, on time, and pretty seamless.

I used a different company before and I was not pleased, so I am glad to have a "go to" company for car service now. I mainly use them for airport pickups and drop offs. The cars are always clean. The drivers are always professional and early. The best part, however, is the customer service! You get an e-mail with a photo of the driver, a text when the driver is on their way, a text when the driver is at your location, an e-mail when you're in the car and a final e-mail when you get dropped off. 5 star service!!…read more Visiting a new city is always stressful. You have to pick a hotel, find your way to the place, and on top of this you have to do this blindly, not knowing the city. Thanks to the yelpers, I found Motor City Limo and called them 3 months prior to the trip to book the transfer to/ from the airport / hotel. A few days prior to the trip I get a confirmation email, and then on the day of the trip I get an email reminding me of my pick up. The only down part is, if you don't have access to email, you would not get this reminder. As I landed I got an email telling me my driver was on the way and a photo of Anton. Then I got a text message telling me he's at the Coffee Bean with an iPad sign. Total communication .. love it! He was so easy to find, and we had no communication problem. Anton was a great driver and guide. Our SUV was warm and he even gave us bottled water to sip on. Chatty but not overly chatty, and gave us tips on what to do in Detroit. I asked Motor City to allow me to tip the driver with cash, and I gave Anton a very generous tip for a job well done. On the day of our return we had "GG" and she was excellent as well. Bright and early at 7 am on as Sunday, she was chipper and friendly. She grew up in Detroit and told us how things have changed in the new Detroit revival. Just like our arrival, Motor City gave me plenty of confirmations and notifications, so I did not stress if my reservation would be there or not. Thumbs up to Motor City, and to Karen the gal I spoke to on the phone. Emailed me within hours, and they never close. Excellent, and recommend them!

Matt, the owner, called back and asked me through the process and booked everything over the phone. Daniel, our driver, did not disappoint. Traveling with two under three is not easy, and Daniel made our arrival butter smooth. From meeting us directly off the elevator at baggage claim to ensuring the car snacks were allergy friendly, he handled the small and large details. We are using them on our return trip but if it's anything like the pick up, I will definitely use again for future family trips.

Will picked me up himself, the car was clean, the 1 1/2 hour ride was AWESOME and I felt pampered. I could not ask for more and being from NYC I know first hand that a cab, Lyft, or Uber ride can be a nightmare if you select the wrong company or unfortunately get the wrong driver. I will only use DET Elite Transportation the next time I am in the area. I highly recommend them and especially Will for his courtesy and for making my experience a great one. I wish them the best and hope their business will thrive.
