A SALAD A DAY HELPS TO KEEP THE DOCTOR AWAY!!! Hey guys! If you're into healthy eating or enjoy eating a salad occasionally, well this is the place for you! I visited this establishment about a month ago during my lunch break at work. It's fairly new and I believe it opened last year around August 2023. I've been intending to stop by and see what they're all about and I finally got the opportunity to do so. I'm extremely proud to have discovered this tiny gem located in the hustle and bustle of Fry Rd. in the Bridgeland community near HEB and other surrounding businesses. First of all, customer service was good. I was greeted and assisted by a young lady named Orianna or Arianna. I'm not sure how to correctly spell her name, but she was extremely nice and welcoming. She was also very patient with me seeing that it was my first visit and I was not knowledgeable on how to place an order. She explained the menu, informing me that they offer a variety of salad bowls, wraps, and salads, which you can build your own or order one from the menu. They also offer desserts, fruit smoothies, and a wine bar!!! I was flabbergasted when I saw the bar fully equipped with a variety of wines and beers. How cool is that? The atmosphere is a brightly lit dining room and is very spacious possessing a moderate to medium noise level with upbeat tunes playing through overhead speakers. Secondly, for my salad choice, I decided to go with the-build-your-own salad which includes your choice of lettuce, a protein, and six toppings. I went with a spring mix for my lettuce, chicken for my protein, and for my six toppings I chose carrots, mushrooms, cucumbers, pico de gayo, black olives, and tomatoes. I forgot what type of salad dressing I chose but it was pretty decent. I think it was Caesar ranch dressing. I absolutely enjoyed the salad. The toppings were fresh and delicious. However, I did not favor the chicken too much because of the texture. It was dry and a little on the hard side, but was flavorful. The salad was delicious without the protein so I'll probably opt out of the protein on my next visit. I can't remember the other protein choices but they do offer something other than chicken. I wish they would add avocado to the menu. What's a salad without that precious green power food that tastes oh' so wonderful? Overall, Healthy Delights is a fun and energetic establishment that offers healthy greens and a variety of other healthy food choices. If you're trying to watch your waistline or just love a healthy high-alkalinity salad after working out at the gym, then this is the place for you! Parking is plentiful, but it is very busy with angry impatient drivers. One must practice precautions while driving and walking in this parking lot. Pedestrians are not top priority or regarded with respect, so I advise all to please look both ways before crossing the lot and, do not expect drivers to wait while you cross the lot. However, I highly recommend this establishment for salad lovers and in my humble opinion, they are more generous with the lettuce and topping servings than Salata! I was craving a wrap, but I also wanted something healthy so i decided to try this place out. This is my first time coming into the establishment and sometimes looking at a menu can be overwhelming and you can be unsure of what to get. There were 2 employees behind the counter who seemed shy, didn't greet customers when they walked in and didn't offer any recs on the menu. I'm the type of person who likes to ask the people who work there what they like to order or what their recommendations are. But they weren't talkative, so I didn't ask. I ended up getting this item on the menu that was for crepes, but made it into a wrap instead. They called it a Cypress special which had spinach, artichoke, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese and pesto sauce. Normally the cypress special comes with chickpea but I opted out for it and subbed it with chicken instead. Because I ordered it this way, they said it would be considered "make it your own" wrap, which came out to $17+ after taxes. I find the pricing of the wrap a bit steep for what I got considering they didn't put a lot of chicken in the wrap. And to be honest, it tasted okay. It's missing something...maybe bc they ended up chopping the spinach it made it mushy. Then there were tomatoes and artichokes, mushrooms, and pesto sauce...which are all wet ingredients or absorb a lot of moisture. I also wished they would list the calorie count by each item on the menu. Most people come to eat here for the healthier options, so it would be nice to know what the calorie counts are. This will give people the options to make the decision for themselves based on what their dietary restrictions are. Although my first experience was so-so, I will give this place another try and maybe come back and try something else. Oh, and they had a bar there..it wasn't a full bar but they did offer some beer on draft and some other alcoholic beverages. I didn't see a drink menu posted, so can't say what they offer. read more

Great addition to our area! Love they bring healthy smoothies fresh ingredients you can watch them make it right in front of you , which is a rare find and important. The location is quietly tucked away so you can run in and grab and go with a smoothie or fresh salad or wrap - OR you can sit at the bar and enjoy a beer or glass of wine. Very unique options here which makes this place a true gem for our suburb. I enjoyed their HUlk smoothie- which you have the option to add whey or vegan protein as well, so this can truly be a great post workout eatery. For dessert (yes, healthy and dessert go together here), they have dessert crepes that will make you feel like your cheating on your macros, but they genuinely for great even if you're dieting. It's a spot for solo dining and families- recently adding a menu for kids, which I can appreciate. This family run business was delightful. I saw their sign the other day when I was in another one of the neighboring businesses and decided to try it today. This place is very fresh! So many options from crepes, bagel sandwiches, omelettes, build your own salads, and wraps. I made a BYO salad and it was very fresh. I will say as a vegan, the tofu was just plain- not roasted or seasoned so that was a bit underwhelming and the toppings didn't offer any avocado or roasted sweet potatoes but that is just a preference. The food here is so fresh and delicious, the California wrap, the Healthy combo wrap , the Greek salad , and my favorite the Veggie wrap with pesto sauce . I just paid $9 for a smoothie and watched the employee put two whole strawberries, half of a banana, a little almond milk, and a TON OF ICE! Some more fruit for that price point would be nice. Wouldn't recommend ordering a smoothie from here. read more

I've been twice since they've opened and both times the food has been very good. I've gotten a wrap each time and I love the broth/soup they give you with your order. Tried this place for the first time and I have to say I was very impressed. I ordered the California wrap on a regular tortilla (vs spinach). It was full of chicken, black beans, cheddar cheese, cilantro, guacamole and much more tossed with a chipotle dressing. Delicious. Everything was very fresh and very tasty. I had a choice of a side of chips or soup. I chose the soup which was vegetable, but not what I was expecting. It was a creamy puréed version that was herby and delicious. The only downside to this place is the price. We paid over $30 for just 2 wraps (and with the side of soup which is included). I will most definitely be returning because I am anxious to try other options, but it won't be as often as I'd like since it is a little pricey. This place is a welcome addition to this area of cypress which is inundated with chicken places. I have nothing against chicken, but it's nice to have a healthier option.
