When it was evident current treatment was not working I called and as instructed left a message with the nurse. After three follow up calls and a week they finally called me back. I expressed my displeasure on the delay and told them I had stopped all meds for 2 days and restarted my normal meds less what they prescribed to see what change it would bring and told them I would give it ,2 weeks and if nothing changed I would contact them to go to a plan b as discussed prior. Once again no call back and finally called the front desk and she was the only one that made a follow up contact happen. They wanted to schedule me for an office visit and I was booked with work meetings. Then they said it would be a month out to come in. I told them why not just go to changing meds as discussed months prior and not let me continue to suffer in the interim? The response was that's the best we can do. I told them to have my records available then sent a follow up email and called the front desk to make sure my records were sent. After 4 days I called to follow up and the clinic did Nothing to release my records and only after calling the records department did I find out they had a form to fill out. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CONCERN WITH THE WORST FOLLOW UP EVEN AFTER HAVING NEXT STEPS DISCUSSED AND REVIEWED MONTHS IN ADVANCE. STAY AWAY

Patients don't get food, and when they do it's always wrong. Now I was in the hospital Jan,Feb,part of March then again in April and most recently NOW! The staff do not pay any attention to detail. Does the patient have the right order, is it checked off - no! I spoke to a food manager and she says they've tried to get them to pay attention. I mean in 5 days not one meal has been correct. They'd leave an item off or forget me completely. I've worked in food service for many years and I I guarantee you the employees just don't give a darn! So I've ranted and raved enough. This system is broken. They need to get professionals to come here and fix the issue!

Within 10 minutes someone else walked in and asked me what was wrong. The nurse practitioner walked in and repeated all the systems I told the previous person. I said that is correct and she prescribeded me some medication and she walked out.

I am in shock over how UK hospital and its associated hospitals are a complete fraudulent and money…read morehungry organization. My husband had an echocardiogram done as requested by Dr B, a cardiologist at UK. My husband was sent to Good Sam, as the machine was there. Never at any time was he considered an outpatient nor was seen in the ER. UK billing coded this test as outpatient and charged a facility fee (hospital fee for outpatient), but charged a separate fee with the same CPT code, at a separate address for the provider. Since the test was billed as an outpatient test at a hospital, our insurance company applied it to our deductible. The total bill was $4258.00. UK billing never sent an itemized will to us for this. Rather, they sent it to collections. When our insurance company requested they resubmit it with proper documentation, the billing department refused. Further, they have not pulled the bill back from collections as requested to date. Lastly, when I requested a manager to assist me, Cara with billing was unprofessional and hung up on me. I truly hope this review will prevent anyone else from having such an issue like this and strongly encourage you never to use their services as they will try to bleed every penny out of you.

Dr Anthony would come into the room unprepared, reading my husband's scan results, etc done the previous week as if he were reading them for the first time. My husband had to remind him more than once on certain aspects that he should have already known if he had studied the information BEFORE the appointment . It was very obvious that he was lacking compassion and not just for any patient but a cancer patient no less! He was always in a hurry and I would be asking questions as he was leaving the room ! Totally unacceptable and without empathy and more importantly , respect . Some people are just not meant to be doctors or in his case, maybe he should have retired years ago . Dr Anthony and nurse Dana would not respond to my husband's messages towards the end and treated him like they had given up on him because he was going to die anyway. Dr Anthony told my husband that he was going to call him 2 weeks before he died and he never did. We were just devastated because no one was responding to our messages in My Chart either! Totally despicable! I will never recommend this place or physician to anyone! Absolutely the worst! I have been a nurse for 31 years and have worked with many physicians but never one like Anthony! You are supposed to treat people with dignity and respect and like how you would want to be treated. I guess the way you treat people will come back full circle and that's the only satisfaction I have . My husband or anybody for that matter does not deserve to be treated the way my husband was treated. Terrible place, doctor and nurse!

My two small boys and I got hot dogs from the street vendor and walked to a nice open area with bench's. Unfortunately the open benches were right next to people smoking sitting/standing, again right next to the no smoking signs. We had to just walk and eat to try to avoid the bellowing smoke.

His treatment did not follow previous protocol and I had to call back twice to make sure a culture was being done. I was assured it was but it would take about a week (I had never experienced that before - usually 2-3 days turn around). To date, almost a month later, I still have not heard back. I must assume it was fine or I would be quite ill by now. I would only return here if no other option was available.

It started swelling up and it hurt like you know what to put weight on it, so I thought I'd better go have an x-ray to see if any of the plates and screws had come loose, or if I had broken something else! I am used to going into places like this and being there for hours, but I was in and out in just over 1 hour! They saw me hobbling in the door and immediately brought me a wheelchair. They also had an electronica pad check in system that is much, MUCH easier than filling out pages and pages of questions & they aren't killing trees either! The receptionists, nursing staff, doctor, radiologist and the cleaning staff, were very respectful and very pleasant, especially since it was so late (they close at 9 and I didn't get out until about that time). Fortunately, it was just a very bad sprain, and I do have to stay off of it for at least three days, but I am thankful they were there and open so I didn't have to go to an emergency room or worse yet, wait overnight with a huge bulging knee that hurt like crap! If you ever need immediate care, I definitely recommend this place.
