I wanted to avoid going into Manhattan for acupuncture as I was in extreme pain due to carpal…read moretunnel issues. So, I searched out something locally and found Dr. Jing's place. She was extremely knowledgable and able to see me the same day I called. The office was very clean and comfortable and I did leave with pain level at a 3 instead of a 10. However, I can only give three stars as the session was only for 30 minutes and the price was $175! She also did not do any medical-type massage beforehand which I've had done with three different acupuncturists in the past. I have NEVER ever paid that much for acupuncture, let alone for a session under an hour (I've paid $80-90). I really regret not asking for the price beforehand. She encouraged me to check with my health insurance about coverage (which it does not cover) but even with insurance potentially picking up the tab, I don't know how you justify $175 for 30 minutes.

I'm truly amazed at the results I had with Dr. Jing. I had…read moreterrible TMJ pain that prevented me from closing my jaw. The dentist couldn't do anything for the pain, and Advil wasn't working, so I decided to try acupuncture. Within one session, Dr. Jing was able to relieve the pain, and with a second visit I was completely pain-free and able to close my jaw again! It was like magic. It was my first time doing acupuncture, but she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She explained her process thoroughly, and was extremely gentle and caring during the session. Her service is reasonably priced and worth every penny - I could not find instant pain relief like hers anywhere else. I was skeptical of acupuncture at first, but Dr. Jing has made me a believer. I have come back to her for other problems such as cramps and headaches. She is able to cure them all. I highly recommend Dr. Jing to anybody looking for pain relief. She is knowledgable, professional, caring, and extremely effective.

I never feel rushed, she explains everything she's doing - both what and why - and is always available for questions, both during and between treatments. I strongly recommend Jung without reservation.

Jung has been my go-to for me and my clients since 2012 when she first treated me. Most Westerners don't understand acupuncture. They only think of needles. It's so much more. A good acupuncturist addresses the whole body as physical and energetic and helps achieve wellness by creating balance in our energy channels and points. There are medical doctors who have added acupuncture or "dry needling" as an adjunct to their practices for "pain management". Jung's practice is far from that. She's a total body practitioner whom I consult with for anything from a common chest cold to hormonal imbalances to musculoskeletal pains and strains. She's an excellent practitioner and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a solid Eastern medicine practitioner.

Other doctors I had seen before and since have had no idea. Dr. Tsoi immediately recognized a severe imbalance that Chinese Medicine called yin deficiency that relates to bad blood flow and bad kidney function. He treated me five days a week for a while and had me drink lots of tea and take herbal supplements. The pain came down quickly and I no longer needed crutches and could live pretty normally. We went to 3 days a week, then one day. Sometimes pain relief is immediate, but sometimes it takes time. It took five years to get close to normal health despite continual improvement. For fifteen years, I have only gone once a month or every few months. I have stopped altogether for a few years at times, but my problems start to return. I am fairly sure my underlying condition is incurable, but acupuncture, herbs, and cupping help my body stay balanced despite that. I can even exercise now like a normal person without worrying about injury. Many health problems are probably caused by systemic imbalances that Western medicine can't treat but TCM (and other holistic medicines) can. If you have a chronic problem, give TCM a chance. I have also seen Dr. Chan a number of times over the years, and she is great, too. They have such a deep understanding of TCM. Sure, it makes no sense to Westerners, but it is backed by thousands of years of practice to help the body restore health naturally.

I met with Dr. Kachko four months ago. I have been struggling with chronic hip, and low back pain,…read moreas well as digestive problem for eight years. By the time I went to my first Inner Source appointment, I had seen fifteen doctors, in three different states, in eight years. My health ailments seemed to be getting worse, and were absolutely affecting my quality of life. Unfortunately, western medicine was not working all that well for me. It seemed each separate specialist doctor had good intentions, but my ailments seemed to only get worse when treated by individual specialists. It is so strange for me to admit that I needed a holistic approach. I really put off making my initial appointment because frankly, I didn't believe that naturopathic care could work for me, let alone improve my quality of life. I committed to changing my diet by avoiding gluten, and dairy. I drink lots of water. I regularly consume vitamin D, and digestive enzymes as prescribed by Dr. Kachko. I intentionally adhered to a routine where I made the time to take care of myself. I regularly attend acupuncture. Implementing these changes took practice. Lifestyle changes take practice. Honestly, I started feeling better after my first appointment, so sticking to the dietary plan, seemed like a no brainier to me. Why risk going back to feeling horrendous joint pain, and managing my digestive drama for a piece of cheesecake or pizza? I will continue to work toward my path of wellness, with absolute faith in Dr. Kachko, and the Inner Source team. If you're struggling with quality of life health related issues, and you're not entirely sure the naturopathic route is practical, I highly recommend you make your first appointment with Inner Source. They will make a believer out of you, and you can get your quality of life back!
