They gave us one their "star" caregivers to provide in home care for my mother. This star said she is not comfortable cleaning or cooking and did not know how to operate a PVR. She said she sees her job as sitting beside my mom all day. This might work if you're in a nursing home that provides the real care, but considering the company calls itself "homecare assistance," doing the daily things that the person can no longer do that would allow them to stay home should be part of the job. Luckily the company had no other caregivers available so we got out of the contract and now have wonderful caregivers we found privately who make my mom meals, keep the place clean and record and play TV shows she likes. Use this company *only* if you live in Barrie Ontario or if you can't find anyone to sit beside your parent in a CHSLD in Quebec.
