I have been a patient of Dr Ola's for about a year. Before we worked together, I had been sick for…read moreabout six years, and had seen almost every specialist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. None of the Mayo doctors really had any answers to explain the root cause of my symptoms. I had been SO healthy my entire life until 2017 when I developed significant pulmonary issues - multiple pneumonias and lung scarring. As things progressed, I began having debilitating headaches and flares that included extreme vomiting and diahrrea (and trips to urgent care for IV fluids and Zofran). On really bad days (a couple of times per week), my pain was so severe I would spend hours sitting in the shower as it was the only thing that brought any relief. Hives would come and go, I had weird brusing, and I had lost half my hair. My body didn't seem to be absorbing nutrition, I was anemic and started ferritin infusions. Labs showed elevated white blood cell counts that required monthly biologic shots. My body was broken. I was hesitant to make plans with friends or family, and could not be the kind of mother I wanted to be. I had to budget my energy - the fatigue was crushing at times. I had tried everything. Paleo/organic very clean and limited diet, professional remediation in our home after a leak, ripped bathrooms to studs just to be safe, replaced AC systems (inside and out), UV light added to AC system, filtered shower and drinking water, threw out all chemicals/ cosmetics/ fragrances. Some things helped a little but my body was still not healing. Dr. Ola was my last resort. She listened to my long story and we began with running tests, labwork, and GI mapping. She was able to pretty quickly determine that I had two HLA mutations that prevented me from detoxing. I also had parasites. We started first with parasite treatment. Parasite treatement is pretty miserable, but you just have to get through it. Dr. Ola helped alot through this process, adding things to help my body through the parasite die-off, and slowing down when my body just needed to rest. This took 6-7 months, but my case was pretty severe and likely the cause of the elevated white blood cell counts. I am now working through detoxing (with a binder) some of the things my body is unable to clear naturally because of genetic mutations. We will retest in a couple of months and she will continue to adjust medications and supplements. I am a different person now and continue to improve. My hair has come back. I have not had a flare episode (vomiting, headache, pain) in 6 months or more. I recently took a weekend trip that included one very late night, and was able to come home and be normal, with no pain, no fatigue, and no crash. This may not sound like a big deal to most people but one year ago this would literally not have been a possibility. My lung function has also improved. I am reminded that it is a privelege to be able to care for my family again and be able to just run errands and meet friends for dinner, like a normal person. Super thankful to Dr. Ola for pretty much saving my life.

I'd been self-treating for years (at HUGE expen see with some success but only reduced a few symptoms. Nothing was going away. My life was getting more and more isolated. I started work with Drs Miles and Diane about 1.5 yrs ago and feel sooooo much better. I'm able to eat more food including fruit. I'm able to exercise rigorously which allows me to consume more calories and nutrients for healing. The most impressive aspect of working with them is that their approach is MORE science-based than western medicine. Since my pcp was unwilling to do the detailed testing or unaware of what to look for, he and specialists never got the data needed to help me. Working w/ MWH is not cheap or easy BUT it's a lot easier and less expensive than living a muted and isolated life while still spending $100s monthly to no avail.

Doctors would spend 5 to 10 minutes with me and didn't seem to care. I met Dr Grover and he spent nearly 1 hour with me - uninterrupted while we discussed my symptoms and I had a thorough examination. He ordered some tests and we DID figure it out. He never once dismissed me or rushed me. Demonstrating a true concern for his patients is an attribute of Dr Grover. I had a friend also see Dr Grover regularly and he went into the ER with a health scare. Dr Grover called him on his cell phone and walked asked to talk to the ER doctor on the phone. Ever since then - he has continued to be a great doctor and I see him on everything from my annual physical to the typical issues, bumps, bruises, and illnesses.

She is detailed, a tireless researcher, advocate for treatments that are not necessarily mainstream, and she's a big believer in in-depth testing to know where to begin. Her specialty is treating Lyme Disease, and she is well versed on women's issues, hormones, and getting as close to the source of dis-ease as possible, so as not to simply treat symptoms. Her initial consultation is free, and I highly recommend reaching out to her if you have been unable to get help elsewhere. I am finally getting my health back after watching it deteriorate for years, in spite of years of diet intervention, supplements and healing modalities.

This place is giving me back my health and my life!…read more I've struggled with a lot of GI issues for about 7 years now and for the last couple years they've been debilitating. I've been to many regular doctors and one other integrative doctor, and so far nothing has helped cure anything, it's just put a mask over it (and even then, it wasn't really helping all that much). It's very frustrating and for those who have been there, you know how hard that can be to continue to try your hardest and still not get answers. That changed when I was recommended by a family friend to come here and see Franca. I've been seeing her via Skype/telephone calls for about 3-4 months now (I live out of town) and finally was able to make the trek today to meet her in person. In the past several months, with her very extensive knowledge base, she's been able to help me more than I've ever been helped in the past 7 years combined. It's not always easy, and required some life changes, but I figured being healthy and actually feeling happy is worth all that and more. We have a little bit of a journey still left to go, but Franca has outlined each step thoroughly so I know exactly what to expect along the way (I love that). She is very personable, friendly, and gives her full attention to you every time you meet. She also is very quick to respond to emails if anything needs to be tweaked outside of appointments. All in all, she's the best I've ever been to and the world needs more practitioners like her.

Instead, I was treated in a practitioner's room down a far hall in the back of the facility where no one was being treated. This was my first time being treated in Colorado. I just moved from St. Louis, MO that week. Ruth, the practitioner, placed needles in me all around my body while I was being treated. Then she left me. After ten minutes, or more, I thought Ruth would return to check on me. Instead, I lay there with pain shooting in my left hand. I shouted, "Someone, please, help me. I am in pain! Please, help me.!" I repeated this numerous times over the thirty minutes or so. Then, when no one came to help me, I begahn to cry. When the practitioner returned, finally, she was surprised to see I was covered in tears. Ruth said I should return every week for treatment. I thought about making another appointment. Following the events of the rest of that week, I cancel eled the future appointments. The next day, I developed a rash on my left groin. I went to Urgent Care on Wednesday to deal with the rash. That evening my finger swelled more and became extremely painful. I suffered all of Wednesday night with the pain in my finger. In the following morning at 8 AM. , the Urgent Care provided me with an appointment for my hand. The doctor said an infected finger can become really nasty, so you should have go to an ER if it gets any worse. She prescribed antibiotics, but they didn't really seem to work. I woke up at 7 PM with a big black sore around my finger where it was infected. There were red streaks streaming up my arms. I went to the ER near my place in Littleton. There, I was transferred to a different hospital where surgery was performed at two o'clock in the afternoon. That was Thursday. Now, it is Monday and I am still in the hospital waiting to see if I will have to have another surgery to clean out the infection. I am grateful for the medical professionals who are helping me.
