Some of us are on a journey of self-discovery and healing. Yet, others are simply looking to feel better or to gain clarity on a situation they're going through. Below are services I offer that may just be what you're looking for: * Sonn Su Reiki: As the creator of Sonn Su Reiki, this modality combines traditional reiki with other helpful tools such as breathwork and visualization. You are always in control of what you're ready to heal. I gently guide you through the process. Whether you're looking for pain relief or how to gain confidence, Sonn Su reiki may be your answer. * Chakra Analysis: As an intuitive, I will scan your chakras to find imbalances. Often when one is underactive, for example, another is overactive. A chakra scan can help bring conscious awareness to what may be out of balance in your life. * Higher Mind Reiki (HMR): As the creator of HMR, this is a wonderful course of self-discover, healing, and empowerment. Please check out our website for details. * VibroAcoustic Therapy (VAT): Science has shown the many benefits to VAT. The VAT table is specially equipped with 4 transducers that vibrate at a low frequency (20-120 Hz). It's effective for pain, sleep, and anxiety. I wanted to wait to write my review after having taken a months worth of classes. I am happy to say…read morethat my opinions of the studio have only improved because my experiences this past month solidified the positive first impression I had on the day I walked in after seeing a sign posted outside. I have taken a range of the beginner classes, including gentle yoga, intro to yoga, yoga basics, and the amazing restorative classes, which are offered several times a week. I could write pages about how much I love this place, but I will try to keep this brief. First of all, the studio is a warm, cozy, inviting environment, and I always immediately become more relaxed by just walking in. The front area has tons of yogi apparel and accessories for sale, and I love the convenience of that. Both of the practice rooms are tastefully, yet simply decorated and the dimmed lights and candles give the rooms a vibe or relaxation and quiet focus. I have taken classes with Melissa and Tricia and I hope to get around to taking classes with the other talented instructors at the studio. The real star, however, is Debbie. As the Brian mentioned, Debbie is one of the warmest, most friendly, genuine people I have met and she welcomed me with such kindness to the area and to the studio on the day that I happened to walk in. She truly cares about each and every person who walks into the studio and she takes her time to make sure you are properly aligned and doing each move correctly when you take her classes. She makes you feel comfortable with trying new things, but she is respectful of personal limitations and varying levels of expertise within any given class. I always leave Lifesource with a renewed sense of calm and relaxation and I am excited to make this place a part of my life here in Akron. I will certainly be extending my membership.

But they have great instructors, ample props including very nice bolsters, a clean restroom big enough to change in, and ample parking too. Definitely will be back -- not taking points off for the floor since that's a very personal viewpoint, and not taking points off for the staff letting people come in late since it's a little annoying but not worth complaining too loudly about (forgive yourself and others, right?). (Also would be good for them to have an electronic sign-in process when arriving, but again, these are all very minor complaints and I will absolutely return here. Stacy in particular was an excellent instructor. My only other suggestion would be for them to incorporate more pranayama and mindfulness meditation (for example, I like when instructors advise setting an intention at the beginning of the session, or positive affirmations, or speaking about the value of letting go... all would make nice additions to their classes, unless you prefer more functional and less spiritual/thoughtful yoga practice).

She ran Access Consciousness Bars with me during each of those visits. When I first learned about Access Bars, it was described as a massage for my brain. I was mentally exhausted at the time. Stressed because of the loss of doggies we rescued, some long-term family issues, and the pandemic. It sounded like bliss! I learned that Access Bars are areas on your head that when gently touched, release the thoughts, ideas, beliefs, and emotions that stop you from creating a life you love. I could not dial the phone fast enough. During our first visit, we worked through a lot of grief together. Andi does Reiki as well, so it really intensified the healing. At the end, I felt amazing and revitalized. I went back a month later to work through some long-existing family trauma. I felt happy and settled for the first time in years. Within a week, I felt this amazing release and with that, I knew I forgave my mother. I was floored. I went back a third time to continue my healing journey and we worked through even more. Each time I walk away with more peace, happiness, and love. She's truly amazing. I highly recommend to anyone on a healing journey. Andi is magic and I am forever grateful!

Within a few short moments, I had discovered that she is quite knowledgeable about the herbs she carries which is exactly what one would expect from an Apothecary worth their salt. I've been a happy customer of A Creative ApothaCare since they were at their Massillon Road…read morelocation, and I followed them to their present, much larger shop/classroom/spa in Lakemore. In the past I've mainly purchased herbal teas and remedies (fantastic selection, all organic and fair-sourced, great prices), but also occassionally picked up books, candles, incense, hand-crafted jewelry, and the like. I hear good things about the many classes they offer but haven't yet had the chance to sit in on one. They also have frequent events like psychic fairs with multiple readers on site. Again, I've never availed myself of these, but have been around when a couple of them have been going on. The definite sense I got was that people were enjoying and appreciating them. I'm happy to say that I did avail myself today of some new (for me) A Creative ApothaCare services, and I couldn't be happier. I purchased a package deal for time in first their infra-red sauna, followed by their salt cave. It was epic - and also therapeutic, insanely relaxing, and happily very affordable. I will certainly be back for more of the same. I understand also that ACA will soon have a sensory float tank up and running. I definitely want to check that out, and will post an update here when I do. A Creative ApothaCare - I just can't recommend this place enough. Between the herbal products (which also include CBD and kratom), and the spa services, they've got your health and wellness covered. With books and metaphysical supplies, they're addressing mind and spirit. Throw in a real sense of community, welcoming to everyone, and a safe and nurturing environment for folks who need that most, ACA is a treasure. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

She is not welcoming at all and doesn't even show you around in regards to different modalities, etc. When asking her about some things she just blows you off. When calling you can't even hear what is being said on the machine. Did the float pod initially with my dtr. and a massage with Jimmie and Kolibri (who are BOTH absolutely FANTASTIC). They were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the facility. Later learned that they were the ones who originally built Mystic Float. Too bad they sold it. I will still go there to see them both for massages, but will not use any of the other modalities there. Went twice to the salt cave and spoke to Julie about the halotherapy that appeared to not be working properly. Told me that she cleaned it, but it still was not putting out any mist. Waste of money and the music in the salt cave was way too loud. I will return to 'Inner Whispers' on Hills and Dales for the halotherapy (which is GREAT and you can actually feel the mist. And plus they have other modalities there and the energy throughout the place is INCREDIBLE). If they had a different person running Mystic Float their business might pick up, but unfortunately Julie does not have the right energy, temperament, or attitude for a wellness center. No one should have to walk thru the doors of this type of business and feel like they're an inconvenience or not welcome.
