There was Keurig coffee and water offered. The office is located in a nice, small strip mall next to a Subway. The location is near the airport and right off the highway. There was plenty of parking. I did the online and in-person combo course to renew my BLS certification. I had just 5 people in my class, though the instructor said typically the non-hybrid courses run 8-30 students. The course was efficiently run and ended up finishing early.

Best Childcare, PreSchool and early learning IN MADISON. Our children were one of the firsts to be…read moreenrolled at Choice from the DAY they opened the School. The Administrators were easy to work with and the staff is not only well-educated, but CARING! We have three children, our youngest has spent his entire life attending Choice from the infant room all the way to the PreSchool room (where he is currently enrolled). What I love the most about Choice is MORE than just it's amazing location (easy on and off the highway) but how accommodating the school has been to our growing family and our changing scheduling needs. We have since left Madison and while we could have easily selected a new PreSchool in our new town, we opted to keep our youngest attending Choice for his PreSchool career. He asks for the administrator BY NAME to join him in playtime each day. That says something about the care he receives there. If you're looking for a childcare center that will LOVE and teach your child like only family can; than Choice Childcare is the CHOICE for you. It certainly is for us and for every one we know!

In fact the reason I was interested in getting more involved in something like the Ashtabula Arts Center is to advocate the importance of community involvement. It is truly a place for everyone, especially the youth. Offering several classes, covering all aspects of art, to the excellent selection of shows. In addition to the traditional theater, the Ashtabula Arts Center offers a unique outdoor theatre known as the Straw Hat Theater. Amazing place to watch a show during the summer months. Whether you live in town or just passing through, stop by and check it out.

Grand River Academy is small but mighty. If you have a son who is struggling in the public school…read moreenvironment, has learning differences, or needs help getting into college, GRA is a great alternative. This isn't the fanciest boarding/college prep school and it is about an hour from the nearest large city (Cleveland), but they get the job done and I never had to worry about my son's welfare - I knew he was in good hands. The staff, teachers and therapists care about the boys and it is clear that they want to help their students be successful. Everyone is fully committed to the mission and values of the school. The campus is very pretty, the dorm rooms are basic but functional. Most of the teachers live right on campus, which helps when the boys need special attention and help. They have a wide variety of class options, particularly around their "intensive" sessions, which last 2 weeks and focus on a particular topic - this year my son took the class on the Henrietta Lacks case. They have planned trips abroad as part of the intensive sessions as well. There are a lot of activities on the weekends to keep students occupied and they have a student center to hang out in as well. They are always trying new ways to engage the boys and keep things interesting. On the first day of school last year, they took each grade to a different adventure - kayaking, ropes course, etc. My son has been there for 2.5 years and has grown tremendously. His grades have gone up and he is involved in clubs and sports. The small class size and the availability of the teachers keeps him on track (for the most part) and if he needs extra help, the teachers are more than willing to spend extra time with him. They encourage him and applaud his successes; they will get on his case if he needs that too. He was failing in the public school and I was at the end of my ability to help him. GRA staff and teachers stepped in and helped start him on a more positive path.

The school is located off the beaten path, but only an hour from Cleveland and Erie. Not everyone has such s great experience, but I think most are very pleased with the school.
