I went here last week to get a perm. BIGGEST mistake of my life! A woman name Britney I THINK did it. She never introduced herself but a couple of bottles said Britney on them at her station. I got the impression my presence in general annoyed her. She brought me back to wash my hair before even talking to me about what I wanted then sat me down at her station and asked if I had called the day before about the perm which I had. Then she rudely informed me that I had failed to mention I had color in my hair. I was never asked about color! So she told me the perm was going to cost more because they had to use a different kind because you aren't supposed to perm colored hair and my hair was already pretty damaged. My hair was NOT already damaged. My hair was VERY healthy. It needed a trim and I had some product in it but I "had" baby soft hair normally. She said the solution would process quicker and keep from drying my hair out. I showed her a few pictures of the type of perm I wanted. She said my hair wouldn't naturally dry that way and those were done with a curling iron. Well the sites said they were perms mind you. I was very specific that I DID NOT want tiny shirley temple curls and I wanted BIG curls. She said the rods would give bigger curls and they wouldn't be really small or frizzy curls. She did several other cuts while I was processing. All of which she whizzed through and quite frankly were not very good cuts at all from what I could see. She ended up leaving the solution in my hair for 30 minutes! What happened to a faster processing time? The perm also included a trim. Well she did a whole lot more than a freaking trim! She cut about 2 inches off without even warning me. I knew it looked short but chopped it up to the curls. I went home and straightened my hair and realized just how much she actually cut. I knew I should have walked out and didn't and regret it sooo much! I was in near tears when I left and couldn't even talk to her. as soon as I got to my truck I started crying. My hair looks awful! It looks like curly frizzy poodle hair. She did so much damage to my hair. It feels like straw. I will NEVER go back to this place ever again! This woman said she had worked there for 1 years. She has obviously not kept up with newer trends or the possibilities with perms. Trust your gut people! read more
