A good time! My husband and I attend this Gentleman's Club probably once every few months and I must say each time we go we always have a great time. Eye candy, great food and even better drinks I love it here and it seems like a lot of people come here for the atmosphere as well. I haven't seen too many people throw money at the girls but nevertheless they're always beautiful to look at. One side does allow smoking and I believe the other side is non-smoking however there is an outdoor area for smoking. The place is a fairly decent size always enough parking. Pull up after 10:00 p.m. but again if you're into this kind of thing if not definitely worth a try even if it's just for the food and drinks and as well as the atmosphere. I've been going to this place for a couple of months now. I once worked in a club so I can be very critical. So far I have not been disappointed. From the management team to supervisors, security, bar maids, dancers etc, it is a group effort to make their guests feel welcomed and at home. Thank you Robbie, Paris, Shelly, Rachael, George, Melissa, Lauren, Vegas and the rest for making this a nice place to relax. Joey in Security makes sure that everyone enjoys themselves and is respectful while there. Here is a tip that I learned from reading another review. Don't use your cell phone while near the stage. What the f*ck am I doing here? Celebrating a bachelor party Chesapeake, VA style of course. I've never stepped foot into a "gentlemen's club" as early as I did on this occassion but apparently that's how peeps roll in these parts of the country. Cover was only $5 and the drinks were so freaking cheap I couldn't believe it. HGC is connected to J B's Gallery of Girls so you are able to walk back n forth...but they don't allow you to take your drinks with you,,yea, lame.. WTF!!?!? They try really hard to make the locals think they are in Vegas. I guess when you don't know anything else and after a few drinks you really think you are in Sin City, haha! The bouncers were cool as was the guy at the entrance that was decked out in his suit. The DJ is kind of annoying but I guess that's his job. I forget why but he ended up buying our group of guys shots so that was cool. The "dancers" leave much to be desired but towards the end they bring out Virginia's finest. One of the dancers seemed to be pregnant, one showed off her c-section scars and some of the others had some serious bruises going on (from being beaten or from the pole, you decide). The bachelor had a great time up on the stage when the girls pulled him up but boy did those belts leave a mark..ouch! I have been checking out Headlights for years. I am a red blooded man and could give 2 shits what anyone thinks about it. Its got some good people working at it and also some shady customers but its a strip club , what the hell did you expect? Each side is its own establishment, JBs is liquor side and Headlights is beer side, This is why you cant take drinks between each side due to separate ABC licenses.. Im sure its a far cry from something further north or even in NC but it serves its purpose in this area and better then most. Their is also a location down the same road that is newer and NoN smoking, and remodeled inside. This is a far cry from an upscale club. This is the kind of place that ordering a bottle of champane looks out of place, that being said some of the food, like the Rays wrap, or hamburgers depending who's cooking, can be pretty damn good. All you can eat wings on Weds for like 8$ is also a good value. If i had to choose things to improve in this location it would be it needs to be remodeled inside, become non smoking. I have had many amusing nights with friends in this place however and although I do not go as often as years past its still a good time non the less. Some general guidelines for this place would be... don't be a dick, be respectful, its not your house, don't use your phone near the runway as it makes the dancers nervous, don't get overly drunk and think its your job to annoy the shit out of everyone around you. My friend and I tried calling 5 different times to check with this place about a cover charge and tried to check it out despite them not answering. When we got there he informed us that because we were under 21 there would be an entry fee of $30, FROM EACH OF US. That's ridiculous. There is no reason why they would need to charge us that much and that money should be going to the dancers, not their terrible club. We only stood inside long enough for him to check our IDs and tell us about the price, but it reeked of cigarettes and I suddenly smelled like an ashtray for the next few hours. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

The bartender stole $20 from me and then laughed in my face when I asked for my money back. I guess she thought she was being cute. It started friendly enough. I had change in my pocket and just wanted to put it in the tip jar. Bartender gets this look on her face and says "Give me $20 and I'll give you change. So I thought she was going to give me 20 singles. Instead, she takes my money and then was like "No, you GAVE it to me!" I didn't want to make a scene but they need to be rid of their serving staff. Went here with a few of my buddies from work. Coming from Arizona to Virginia the strip club laws are atrocious. However, if you can get past the crazy Virginia laws, this strip club is actually pretty good. The girls are very beautiful, and their bodies are amazing. Hard to find a ugly girl in this club. Beer and soda or very fair priced, and the music is very good with a very vast selection. I would recommend this club to someone else. Entry fee only $5. read more

Disclaimer: I'm not going to compare this to other strip clubs I've been to, b/c that wouldn't be fair. (In Va, there is no "topless"). I like this place. I've been here several times and it's definitely worth the trip from NN. In fact so much so that I don't pay a cover anymore. Usually it's ~$5 . They only serve beer on this side (HGC) and only hard liquor on the other side (JB's Gallery of girls). The prices vary. Beer is relatively cheap, but the liquor is quite pricey (I order a couple of Jager Bombs). The girls switch back and for between the 2 establishments which is kinds cool. JB's is a bikini bar. No tops come off at all. Regarding Headlights, the dancers' tops DO come off, but their nipples are covered with pasties. Honestly, who cares? This is as good as it gets in VA. The girls themselves? Very lovely. I've only been on the weekends when they're busiest and the girls are above average looking. Which is a great thing b/c this isn't Vegas or Atlanta (expectations are higher). The girls are very personable as well. NOT pushy which is quite a relief if you ever frequented other strip clubs. They do offer lap dances in a private area for ~$20. There is smoking inside, so if that bothers you, I wouldn't go here. For a fun time out, I recommend Headlights. It's fun, the girls are really cool, the drinks are always cold, and it's a great alternative to the other "night life" in Hampton Roads. read more
