I had a home birth with my first daughter with no complications. She had a whole team there (with my permission) and all along the way, she educated me about my pregnancy, labor and delivery so that I felt very empowered about having a baby. It was an incredible experience that I will never forget. What initially struck me about Molly and everyone that works with her is that I feel empowered after seeing them. I contacted Karen a few weeks ago because I was suffering from severe seasonal allergies. My eyes…read morewere itching, but mostly it chest congestion, which resulted in a post-nasal drip that had me coughing day and night. I know that, in the past, consumption of grains, like bread and pasta, exacerbated my seasonal allergies. I thought it had to be more than that and so I contacted Karen to help me. Karen was very responsive and immediately called me back, suggesting that we meet for an hour so that she could discuss with me my symptoms, my diet, my lifestyle and how we could adjust all of the above to alleviate my allergy symptoms. Karen is very knowledgeable and also very caring. She's a great listener and her suggestions for me were very practical. For instance, Karen advised that I avoid histamine producing foods, like oranges. I had no idea that oranges exacerbated season allergy symptoms. She also suggested that I add supplements to my diet, and, again, it was nothing that struck as extreme. 24 hours later I felt much better. 48 hours after that my allergy symptoms were largely gone, and I was able to sleep through the night without any coughing fits. In short, I had an exceptional experience with Karen, and I would recommend her without hesitation or qualification. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Karen for nutritional advice even without being afflicted by seasonal allergies (although that was the purpose of my initial outreach), and I'm confident that whatever advice Karen would give me would be effective, reasonable, and practical.
