I recently subscribed to HBO Max and if content were the only metric they'd deserve five stars going away however, their surveillance of my viewing habits has me more than a little creeped out. Every day I must receive three or four emails commenting on my viewing choices. "Hey Mike why don't you finish watching that documentary on Willie Mays and, while you're at it finish episode one of The Leftovers." How about, leaving me the f__k alone and let me surf what I want in peace without a digital eye looming over my shoulder or am I the unwitting star of some Black Mirror nanny state dystopia. Recently my application changed to the name Max. I watch at my daughter's apartment. I need to check out the movies they offer because I've started watching Disney and Netflix more frequently.
