She provided one "edited" extended family photo and I could see there was a halo around my grandfather. I asked her about it and she claimed she did nothing to it. So I pushed her and she finally edited it. She had done several headswaps and when I zoomed in, I could see she TERRIBLY did them. My niece looked like she had a nipple on her forehead. there were extra collars, things didn't line up, etc. I kept sending it back to get fixed. She never apologized for her crappy editing and then I sent it back again because there was a WEIRD tinge outlining shirts and body parts. I asked her to send me the raw file as she obviously has issues with editing. She refused, told me to stop contacting her and her work was done. (Also: On the day of the shoot she asked me to pay the balance by cash or check to her self, not her business.) She would also pose us as a small group ask us to tickle or interact and then CUT OFF people's heads, like right in the middle of they eyes. She didn't evey provide another version without the weird crop as she said she didn't shoot them that way, only tight crops. For $1,200, I deserved a lot better. She never once apologized, just told me to stop contacting her she did her part...... which was apparantally to give me crappily edited photos and not fix the issues.

My only problem is I never received the announcement cards for my daughters graduation. Its been over a year now, and after several call's nothing has been done to make it right. I feel like she thought I was lying about not receiving them, but we're well past the graduation, so it wouldn't do me any good to have them, but I would be at least somewhat satisfied if I at least had what I paid for, if not a partial refund.

Booking The Alice was hands down one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning. As a…read moredestination bride who was definitely more "go with the flow" than super planned, I was nervous about how everything would come together. Kristin and the entire Alice team made the process feel so easy and fun. Kristin especially was unbelievable throughout the entire experience. I would randomly come into town and ask to stop by the venue, and she always welcomed us with open arms. We walked the property countless times discussing layouts and ideas, and she was endlessly patient, helpful, and genuinely excited for us no matter how many times things changed. The venue itself is stunning. The grounds are beautiful, the getting ready spaces are gorgeous, and the entire property feels private and intimate while still having so much room to make the space your own. Since it's such an open-concept venue, it truly allows couples to customize every part of the experience. We used the tree area for cocktail hour, transitioned our ceremony space for special dances, then to the waterfall deck area for dinner, and later in the night the tree became our go to bar right by the dance floor which we put on the lawn beside it. We'd never seen or been to an open-concept wedding but it exceeded expectations. Another difference of The Alice are the cottages. Having our closest family and friends all together from Thursday through Sunday completely transformed the wedding weekend into something so much more meaningful. Guests bonded by the pool, gathered around the fire pit every morning and night - it honestly felt like adult summer camp in the best possible way. Kelly was also incredible throughout the entire weekend. She made everyone feel so welcomed and taken care of, and guests kept telling us how much they loved her. Even outside of the wedding weekend itself, the team went above and beyond. Kristin allowed us to take engagement photos on the property, and Kelly once gave us a full private cottage tour during an unexpected visit just because she was excited to show us around. By the end of this process, we truly felt like family instead of clients. We cannot recommend The Alice enough to couples looking for a venue that is beautiful, unique, flexible, and filled with people who genuinely care about making your wedding special.
