I feel it's important to share my story to warn others seeking tax preparation services. Despite multiple attempts to confirm my appointment, I was repeatedly told that there were no appointments scheduled for me or my spouse. However, an appointment with Andy's Tax Service was held with my spouse during a time when I was unavailable due to work commitments--not just an unacceptable oversight for a professional tax service since Drew, Gerrilynn or any office staff could have called, text, emailed or contacted me in any way to establish and/or confirm appointment dates and times. What became even more concerning was the discovery that, against my direct instructions regarding filing status, my signature was forged for the filing of tax returns. After this was verified via the IRS, it was confirmed that the tax return was submitted through e-filing with my signature during the day/hours I was at my job and was not present for signing. This situation caused significant personal distress, especially being in the midst of a divorce and having clearly communicated that I did not consent to filing jointly. When I questioned these actions, intentions and the forgery in general with the owner; son of Andy Belluso and successor to our tax prep services, Drew Bellusos' response was even more concerning. While Drew initially apologized and claimed he could "fix" the situation and "didn't know what he was thinking", he later tried to justify the actions as part of normal procedure--a claim that is completely false. The dismissive attitude toward such a serious issue only added to the betrayal I felt by a family owned and run business that I have shown nothing but loyalty and respect to for a decade plus. I understand everyone wants to get what's due in their pay and limit how much the government takes from that, but it's important for anyone considering tax preparation services to be aware of the potential risks involved. The financial well-being of the client(s) is at stake, and it is crucial that tax preparers act with integrity and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience with Andy's Tax Service fell short in both of these areas. In conclusion, I would strongly advise anyone to carefully research and select a tax service that values ethical standards, communication, and transparency. I hope my experience helps others avoid similar issues.

I have easy to do returns but like the fact they save returns online in case of any problems in the future. I also always get the peace of mind insurance. I switched to this office due to problems with my previous office. I'm not going to give a bad rap over one bad office visit. Plenty around to choose from. I went in a few weeks ago as I had a question on a past years tax return. I got no help. The female talked as if she wanted to help but I could tell by her attitude I was not going to get help. Should have been a simple pull up past return, scan through to find issue and be on my way. I was given a few excuses as to why she wouldn't be able to look it up. After she realized I wasn't going anywhere until I had an answer, she reluctantly got on her computer. Long story short...to late...she went through a couple of screens then told me I was not in the system. I told her I should be, I've been coming for a few decades. Again with the attitude, another couple of screens and yet more excuses, no luck. This lady worked harder to get out of looking up my question than it should have taken to just pull up my return and find what I was looking for. I am not going back to any h&r offices and will be going to get my taxes done elsewhere. They have proven more than once they will not/can not help when needed. Beware if you may want help with future returns. Help that should have been just looking something up, nothing out of the norm.
