They weren't able to use the adjuster on the dishwasher as the threads were stripped but they did improvise by cutting a piece of pipe to size and insert it in place of the leg. Norm called me right back and came the next day. What a sweetheart. Such a sweet older gentleman and so is his wife whom I spoke briefly to on the phone. Norm has very reasonable rates most plumbers charge 120 - 150 to walk in the door. Our final bill was 115.
