The Hawley Antique Exchange was incredible. The store has an endless selection of vintage, antique, and interesting items for sale. Aside from all that you will be intrigued with on the first floor, you cannot forget to go down into the basement. There, you will have the privilege of viewing a private museum of vaseline uranium glass items that will leave you in awe. Some are dated back to the 1800's. The museum also has a vintage, self playing piano. I was mesmerized with the music and sat there, listening, for minutes on end. The owner of the collection gladly answered all of our questions and even turned the lights off, in order to make the uranium glass figures glow. Don't forget to leave a donation, if you were pleased with what you saw. This antique store was a very nice, and educational, experience. I highly recommend a visit and enjoy the rarity of what you'll see. read more

Hawley Antique Exchange - So many different areas for the antique shop - Antiques Near Me - Hawley, Pennsylvania

Be prepared for a visual overload. There are antiques from all eras and areas, and just about any antique collector can find something that they like. Initially my favorite part of the antique exchange is right inside the front door, they have one of the largest collection of Vaseline Glass which is displayed with black lights so it glows. The display case, however, ceases to be so impressive if you have an opportunity to go into the basement floor Glass Museum where you will discover the largest privately owned collection of Vaseline and uranium glass. If the son of the owner is in, he may explain the products to you and if you are lucky he will turn off the light and you will be able to see all of the glass glow. It is quite the spectacle for the eyes. This place is a great location to spend a couple hours, just take your time because there's multiple floors to view. read more

I like this antique place. My papa in-law brought me here antiquing. He had a good experience here and thought I'd like it. And I did. This antique place is quite big, a culmination of over 40 consignment booths. Most of the stuff here are not owned by the people on the front desk. This present a major problem if you want to haggle your price. However, the price on most items are quite reasonable and with that many booths, there is a variety of items for antique aficionados. Definitely check this place out if you're antiquing in the Poconos and if you're as lucky as me ... you'll probably find something good. read more

Great consignment antique store. Very helpful dealers and fair value for buying and selling. Very large with a wide variety of items. The hidden gem is the Vaseline glass museum in the basement. Open most weekend, this is a very large private owned display with available black lighting to maximize the impact. Also many old and unique clocks, player pianos and victrolas. A must see for free! read more

This is one of the best antique centers around. More often then not we find something great at a very reasonable price and we always ask for a discount and without question always get at least 10% off. Sometimes you'll find a great dresser or Victorian chairs, bottle, books, albums, clothes, furniture, silverware and on and on... Most everything is reasonably priced and what isn't sits there for years, though the stock does seem to change quicker than most other antique centers. The sales staff is friendly and accommodating... And, several times a year they have a mini-flea market in the parking lot and nothing, no where is cheaper and the goods are real steals. read more

Very nice collective. Good to high quality merchandise very well-displayed throughout two story building. Definitely antique with very limited vintage items. I love mid-century and was hoping for a find. Interesting vaseline glass collection. Prices varied by dealer. I would definitely return when in the area. read more

Really like this place. One of our regular stops on our antique-shopping circuit. Good diverse mix of items from a number of dealers. Furniture, collectible toys, some vintage clothing, taxidermy, and even a case that often has old punk rock memorabilia. I've dealt with some really nice people here as well. A few people not so warm, but don't require that when I'm antique shopping. Sometimes wish they had more turn around in some of the booths I frequent the most, but thats on us. Hope to be coming here for a long time. :) ALSO: They house the world's largest collection of uranium glass. It's something to behold. You may have to ask and hope they feel like giving a tour. read more

Wonderful shop with a huge variety of antiques and collectibles. Prices were reasonable and staff was very helpful and friendly. When I inquired about a discount I was offered 10% off. Nasty owner. Told me to go shop somewhere else if I didn't like it when I called up to question a price I was charged after dropping two hundred dollars in this place one weekend. Way too much clutter that looks like it never moves and offer the typical 10% discount when you ask which is a total co-out in multi-dealer shops. read more
