The course here is diverse enough for anyone to enjoy, the front nine with wood and water obstacles and the back nine more length and bunkers to challenge you.
You normally have tio book a tee-time afew days in advance as it can get very busy. They aren't too strict though and generally the other golfers are friendly and have abit of patience.
Its quite a long walk around but buggys can be rented by members.
Non-members can play for a fee as long as they are with an established member and have their own set, sharing is not allowed.
The club shop is small, expensive and the products distinctly average but the pro offers afew tips from here so it can be worth looking in. You can also get lessons around the course.
The restaurant and bar are abit formal and not particularly good value, but its the place to be seen by the older socialites around the area.
The only put off here is the condition of the greens, they are very lumpy and slow making it hard to score well until you are used to them. There has been investment promised which maybe underway by now. read more
