Although I did have Honolulu court judgment, I did not know where defendant worked to garnish wages. Richard did some legwork, social media and discovered defendant's workplace. He successfully served garnish summons to employer and got him to sign service document and advise of Honolulu court date. Employer called me the very next day to advise that he wanted to settle this quickly, proposing a very satisfactory payment plan. He told me he…read moreserved the man who was to be served, and then provided me with a photo of two men in a vehicle. The driver held the paperwork, but the passenger was apparently the one needing to be served. The passenger did not look like the right person. Anthony refused to answer my question, "Did you ask the passenger if he was "John Smith"? And IF the passenger was "John Smith", then why was the driver served? After all of this, Anthony did not file the proof of service with the appropriate court as he said he would (and he had the instructions to do this). Costa charged a lot for a service that probably will not hold up in court.
