I've visited this place a total of 4 times in which I got threaded by them 3 times. These are just my experiences and thought I'd share because I don't think I'll be back. First time coming I had jada I think was her name loved the way she did my brows and naturally wanted to come for another visit, was very sad to find out she only worked on fridays and my work schedule didn't work with hers so the next couple times I tried new girls. Jada was the only thing that made me want to come back. Love the idea of walk in appointments and was so glad I was able to snatch an appointment in 20 minutes or so for my first visit. Second visit with them I waited around 30 and noticed after I had signed in the workers were taking people who signed in after me. I went to check the list on which I signed in on and they completely skipped me and took what have been two clients after me if I hadn't said anything. The third visit I signed in and waited 30 minutes watching the workers sit down play on their phones and not say anything to me. They took girls who signed in after me immediately though. Please keep in mind that last time I was skipped so I was paranoid that it would happen again so I constantly kept checking the list, and all the girls who came after me had appointments. I waited for about 45 minutes to an hour after I decided to leave. The workers then explained when I tried to cross my name out on the list that next time I should make an appointment because it gets busy on certain days. The forth visit I had made an appointment with one of the owners I believe Lehua. I had made my appointment a couple days in advanced and made it there on time. When I got there signed in like usual and the workers told me that Lehua wasn't coming in that day and the girl filling in for her was going to come in at 12, I come all the way from town just to do my brows so I told them I'd wait. Luckily the girl covering came at 11 so I waited an hour after booking my appointment which was supposed to be at 10 which I thought was already ridiculous. As my brows were being done I overheard the workers talking about how Lehua the owner had left to a trip to Disney two days ago, which made me very mad that she didn't cancel or stop any of her appointments being made. I received no "sorrys" from any of the workers or any compensation for the mess up on their behalf which I find very unprofessional. In conclusion I really didn't want to post a bad Yelp review and rather had just inform the owner nicely, but my last experience was ridiculous. I had tried to contact the owner via Instagram to share my experience, but they haven't responded . My third visit wasn't bad but I work in the food industry so I know what good customer service is, I wish the workers would have told me they had appointments back to back for the next hour, so I wouldn't have been wasting my time. This business needs to work on organization and communication because the last string for me was knowing I made an appointment days prior to, then having to wait an hour from my appointment time because the owner was on a personal trip and didn't cancel any of her appointments. I hope someone finds this helpful and hopefully gets read by the owner. read more

I have been here a total of 3 times. It really depends on who you get here. I had the owner by chance and she was fantastic, I loved the way she did my eyebrows. However, some of the girls thread off way too much. My friend has gone here and was very upset at how thin her eyebrows looked after. She tried it again with a different girl and had the same bad experience. She has way thicker eyebrows than me so I didn't take it too seriously since my first two times were fine. However my last visit, I got my eyebrow drastically taken off. The girl seemed nice and she shaped it nicely, but i have never had my eyebrows this thin. I had specifically told her to keep it thick. As I felt her pluck thick hairs that I had never had plucked before on the first eyebrow,I had to ask her to stop. Unfortunately I had to go to another place to fix the second brow (the second lady who did my other brow showed me how it should have been done and the contrast was drastic in terms of thickness ). I will be using a brow pencil for the next few weeks to make them look even. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. read more

I walked in and waited for about 10-15 minutes with my small puppy. One of the girls got done, came up to me and asked me if my dog was a service dog. I said no. She was not even nice or personable about it but proceeded to tell me they only allowed service dogs, in the mall itself as well. Then she tells me she's allergic to dogs with a compete RBF face. I could tell even though she was wearing a mask. If I could have left my dog somewhere I would have. I wish people would understand that you can't just leave your dog in a hot car or sometimes even at home especially if you just moved to the island. If you don't like dogs that's fine. You don't have to touch or like her, just have some empathy for someone trying to do something for themselves like getting their eyebrows fixed up while not having anyone to help take care of a small puppy. I am definitely not coming back. There are plenty of other businesses I'd rather give my money to. read more

I've been neglecting my brows for quite some time already. I made an appointment over the phone at this cute spot at Windward Mall. First time here and I was actually referred to this place by my coworker. Usually I tend to not have many people touching my brows because I've left with some not to my liking before. Came in today 10/5 around 5:50pm and she didn't have anyone on the chair which Made me really excited. She got started on me right away.It all seemed fine until she was done and she tried to give me the mirror and she took it away super fast. I looked at it for a second. I watched her do a few clients who were in front of me and I knew I wanted her doing mine. I have been having my eye brows threaded since high school (15+ years). Iv had good experiences and not so good experiences and I have to say this was by far the best job anyone has ever done! Threading in itself is a kind of art form if one is doing it right and she's got it down! Cleanliness: I was assured to see that The chairs are wiped down after each client, gloves are used, fresh thread, hand sanitizer used, and tools are properly cleaned. My eye brows: ok so Jada has been doing my eye brows the last 7 weeks now and they are finally on my point! This place does a good job, but the wait and whatever their system is, if they have one, is horrible. If they could get it together, I would give this place all the stars, but this is the 3rd time I've gone and it is ridiculous. Even though I prepped myself and knew it would take forever, it was over an hour wait as a walk in. They ran behind and people who had appointments kept coming in late and still got in before the walk ins. There's no communication, as far as telling the waiting group "you're next" or "10 more minutes", that at least would be helpful. You can feel the tension in the air when a client is finished, everyone looks to see who they will call next, and then chaos happens. People asking how come they're not called when they've been waiting and the answer is always they had an appointment. Usually they are running behind and the appointments are way off. It's very frustrating and I wish they could really work in a more professional manner. But their work is pretty good. read more

Thankfully I found this place!!!! I desperately needed to get my eyebrows done for my besties wedding. The place I normally go to was closed by the time so finished work. So I was searching for other options. One of my girlfriend's told me there was a new threading place in the Windward mall so I decided to check it out. I had to wait quite a bit as there was a few people ahead of me but it was well worth the wait. Andrea was the girl who did my eyebrows and she was amazing and so sweet. I've been to many threading shops however, this is the cleanest I've ever seen my eyebrows done. I will definitely be coming back and telling all my girlfriends to come here too! Wow! I got a great deal on Groupon for eyebrow threading and tinting for this business and I'm glad. I am very particular with my eyebrows especially since I do not regularly wear makeup to cover up any mistakes. Andrea did a phenomenal job. I was very impressed with my eyebrows when she was done. Even my husband commented how amazing they look! I usually go to Ala Moana however, living in Kaneohe can make it challenging to drive over there unless I have other things to do. I was able to make an appointment the same day & although I ran a couple minutes late, Andrea was very accommodating & sweet. I believe I have found a new eyebrow threading place for me!!! read more

THIRD STRIKE...I used to have great experiences of welcome and service. The past three times I attempted to have my eyebrows threaded and tinted - BOO! #1: NOBODY around, and I was told that she had an appointment, so I'd have to wait half an hour. I waited, and NOBODY showed up for an appointment. #2: I was told that I would have to wait 20 minutes, and I did. She was working with someone, so I knew she was busy. When my 20 minute wait was over, she had just completed an appointment, then she told me she was going on a 30-minute break. I know breaks are important, but if she knew she was going on a break after the previous appointment, why didn't she tell me to wait for 50 minutes or even an hour. #3: I wrote my name in the walk-in list at 11:15 am. I was told it would be a 15 - 20 minute wait. I was okay with that. I waited, and one of the stylists, highlighted my name, and then proceeded to take care of the next customer on the list. I approached the stylist, who had just seated her new customer, and asked what the highlighted names meant, and she told me they were the customers who were already taken care of. I told her it's me, and I am not being taken care of. She said she made a mistake, and the other stylist told me I had to wait because there were others with appointments. There was only one person on the list who arrived at 11:35am for her 11:30am appointment. I really enjoyed having my brows threaded and tinted here, but the unprofessional and unwelcoming attitude of the staff puts this shop on my list of places NOT TO GO! read more

I wish I can add more stars. I come on Tuesdays which is always Bianca. I am an eyebrow enthusiast. I moved to the island recently and came across Bianca here. She's so precise and my eyebrows are always so perfect after she's done. I believe they have a military Monday discount (not entirely sure but I think). I'm not sure of her name but the lady with the very high arches and maybe tattooed brows STAY AWAY. Do not let her touch your brows you will leave embarrassed and ready to cry yourself to sleep. She WAYYY over plucks your brows they will be as thin as paper!! (coming from a girl with genetically thick brows). and for some reason likes to ignore your natural arches and re create her own arches in the middle of your brow as high as mountains! Andrea is such a sweet and friendly person that runs her threading business. She's still in the middle/final stages (I think) of finalizing her look for her shop but you can already tell it's coming together quite nicely and really nice to walk into. Her prices are definitely reasonable, she's fast and knows how to hold a conversation keeping you preoccupied from the pain of cleaning up your face. I also tried the brow tinting and loved it! My first time and it's not too dark and still somewhat light enough for it to look refreshingly done without looking to done up. You will not be disappointed with her services. I called this place a couple hours before going in to check if they were available once I got off work at 5:15 and she said yes. Once I get their she tells me "Oh sorry I haven't taken my lunch and won't be able to take you until after I come back" I understand you have to take your lunch, but please don't lie to customers saying your available at a certain time and then once they arrive, you say your not available.
