Best independent airport lounge I've ever been to (still a Delta sky club sweetheart). I opted for the day pass which was $800 pesos (a little pricey imo, but well worth the money).
They have mid-tier liquor options (eg Beefeater gin, Absolut vodka) and they can whip up a decent cocktail. I had a couple of mezcalitas that I would easily pay $10 a piece for at a cocktail bar in Mexico City and not blink an eye. They also have showers, beautiful and clean bathrooms, ample seating, and just an overall really nice space. Good WiFi too.
Buffet food was okay. Definitely wish they had a bigger selection of hot food. But the veggies were good, in particular they had some carrots that were seasoned nicely. You can pick one main dish from the menu and I opted for the burger, which was pretty solid. Definitely better than standard airport fare.
My main critique is that they offer a service to drive you to your gate, and I asked them about it about 30 minutes prior to boarding. Turns out you need to give them an HOUR'S notice. Fine, but give me a heads up when I check in. Thank god I didn't wait until the last minute because it's a fairly long walk to the gates.
Overall would definitely recommend if you find yourself with time to kill in Benito Juarez. read more
