There are…read morea lot of stores where you can buy decent everyday stuff; Real, H&M, Cookmal, Nanu Nana, C&A. There's nothing fancy here but it is clean and spacious. They also have these hilarious horses that the kids ride around, it's very strange. There are a number of reasonable places to eat; potato box, dunkin donuts, kebab, ice cream. It's steps from the S and U which may be the best feature.

I noted that there are couple design are related to water, I think that probably the them there are going for, quite special and identical. Das Schloss is so big compared with other malls in the center of Berlin, but it got most the cool shops, it is quite nice place to shop. After the shopping, you could always visit their food corner to have a drink or have a meal, the place looks cool. The U-bahn station has a way directly take you inside the mall, you could also just take the bus to get here, there bus stop for this. For me, I think Das Schloss is a not bad place to do shopping. It is in nice location, got many things around. It's just a bit far for front the center, I don't really come here that often, only when I looking for some shops only here got or simply I close by. If I just want to shop, there are much closer, bigger, and better shopping malls around in the center of Berlin.

This is a decent shopping mall in Steglitz. All of the usual stores are here: H&M, Esprit, Media…read moreMarkt etc. They also have one of Berlin's few Apple stores, Mac House. The way it's laid out, it seems quite small and intimate. But it's not - there are loads of shops here. It can get very busy on weekends. Very convenient for public transportation, there's an U-Bahn station right outside. It's not bad if you're in the area, but it's not worth taking a special trip here.

Since I can't find an entry for the nail salon, I'm writing a review for it here. It's called L.A. Nails, "American Style" (good one). The staff is super unfriendly, and doesn't greet, acknowledge, or speak to you unless spoken to. I came in looking to get tips in a neutral and opaque color. After the nail tech convinced me to get a different technique than I originally wanted, she began manhandling my nails to the point where my nail beds began to bleed. She then proceeded to put NAIL GLUE on the wounds. The color selection was extremely poor, and she tried to sell me a tacky pink color instead of the beige I wanted. She treated me like I was an imbecile for pointing out that this color wasn't beige, and did a horrible job applying it. I pointed out several spots she missed, which led her to talk pointedly to her colleague in a language I did not understand. It was quite clear that she was talking about me, however. Finally, they do not take card, and the advertised discount for first-time customers for some inexplicable reason did not apply to me (the first-time customer). Not even remotely worth the 40€, and I sincerely hope I don't get an infection from the nail glue on my open cuts. Awful, awful place.
