I used Have Fun Events for my grandpa's 100th birthday party and they were amazing! We rented a 20x40 tent with draping, round tables, linens, resin chairs, and chafing trays, and everything was clean and in good condition. I did all of my communication through Yelp with Alex anwas quick to respond any time I had a question. They also provided all their pricing online so you know exactly what you're getting. The set up guys arrived the day before and took everything down the day after. It was nice being able to enjoy the party without stressing about rentals. I would happily rent from Have Fun Events again!! read more

Have Fun Events - Draped Tent with wooden chairs and tables - Party Equipment Rentals Near Me - Commerce, California

It started out good then it just kept getting less and less organized/professional. They forgot a few things in our order and never gave us any options of having the items delivered...just a rude excuse and a refund. Which was difficult because last minute we had to find another table and correct color linen in time. Their team also chose to deliver our order without scheduling the delivery date with us, even though they claimed they schedule delivery dates... So this forced us to run around to make sure someone was there which was a huge inconvenience that day because they only contacted us about delivery 2hours before they arrived. Nor did they schedule a pick up day or time like they claimed they do. This gave us another day of scrambling around trying to make sure someone was available for pick up. All of the cocktail tables were lopsided which honestly wouldn't have mattered at all, if their customer service was decent. But as an overall experience there were just a bunch of apologies, no real customer service, and only "okay"rentals. I wouldn't say they aren't worth the shot.... It's entirely possible that maybe they were rude and unprofessional to me just for fun. . . But after that experience, this is definitely not a place i would recommend. And good luck taking the risk! read more

This is just based solely on the Quote and communication from Alex. When the delivery arrives I'll be sure to update to more stars. Having a Surprised Birthday Party for my Mom. I keep telling myself I'm going to buy tables and chairs for parties. But, I just never got around to it. So, here I am renting. I sent a project on Yelp requesting quotes ,and let me tell you some of these quotes were ridiculously high... Alex responded to my Quote I'm looking to rent 6round tables , 3square tables and 35 chairs for 2/11 to be delivered at @11:00am in the city of Lakewood Clark Ave/South St And he responded right away with a quote $150 now this is very, VERY affordable. The only reason I'm giving this company 2 stars is because their equipment rental (tables, chairs and cocktail tables) were in good decent condition. But if you want to get nickeled and dimed for every single thing you ask for, then rent from them. In our case we wanted it to be delivered on a specific date at a certain time, that's an extra charge. If you wanted them to set up their tables and chairs they were renting you, that's another extra charge. If you wanted them to pick up the tables and chairs and other equipment on a certain date and time, that was another extra charge. I could understand if this was going to a house, but it was going to a venue. The other issue that I realized after we received the rental equipment, is that I asked for 10 tables and 100 chairs. When my niece & I opened up the tables and chairs, we realized we could only fit 8 chairs comfortably. A suggestion from the company to use larger tables would have been useful. I'm sure once the company reads this review, they are going to point out that the contract did say 1 to 2 days for delivery and pick up. So my suggestion for everybody is to make sure you read that contract and, again, if you are open to paying extra fees, for something that I feel should be included, then do so at your own risk. read more

We've used their services a few times in the past but never left a review. I think now is the time to express the professionalism, prompt and clear communication that Alex and his staff show to customers. From the beginning of all the interactions I've had with Have fun, they've been prompt in responding to any and all my questions and concerns, they are a true one stop service provider for all your party needs. Delivery of the supplies was prompt and almost to the minutes that was stated. Everything in very good condition and clean (tables and chairs). The quoted rates are much better than other companies that we've contacted in the past so no need looking elsewhere. All in all, they have a customer in us for years to come. Thank you Alex read more

This review is almost a month due today, but I wanted to this moment to because I think it is important that this be viewed. I used the services of Alex way back last year. My event was supposed to be in November 2023, but because I got COVID, Alex was considerate enough to acknowledge my deposit without any charges and agreed to the rescheduled new day, which is March 9, 2024. From the time that I was searching Yelp on rentals, Alex was the very first one that responded immediately. He was engaged with text and email conversations and was so prompt to respond to both. Alex took the time to respond to my "many" questions and request without any hesitation. He is very friendly, responsive and prompt. My need for my event necessitated for the tables and chairs to be picked up that same night. I searched everywhere to find a vendor that will do that. However, Have Fun Event Planning is the only one that passed this test. Not only is the price reasonable for the special delivery and pick up, they were in time. I must add that prior to my event, I asked Alex to deliver 1 round table and 10 chairs to my house as a mock set up. For a nominal cost, they were delivered to my doorstep on time even with the rain. Overall, I can only speak highly of Have Fun Event Planning and 101% recommend it. They are professional, easy to deal with, prompt and true to their word, and most importantly, the price is reasonable. Thank you Alex for your services. I will definitely use you again in my next event. Ruth read more

Just had my daughters party this weekend and Have Fun Event Planning provided the rentals to make the backyard look very presentable. Alex and his team was nothing short of amazing 1) Very communicative and thorough. - just from the initial outreach and quote, Alex responds within minutes - he gives you a few days heads up when the scheduled delivery and pick up will happen. His team shows up in the discussed timeline. 2) Price for the quality of service and equipment used was way better than other received quotes. Although it was for a first bday party...people commented that the set up looked like a backyard wedding. 3) The team that did the set up and clean up were very nice, took our opinion on location and placement and provided expert advice on many situations (have 2 opening in the tent so air can circulate...etc). They also picked up and cleaned the area after the set up and take down. Thank you Alex and team for everything...looking forward on having you guys on the next event. read more
