The remarkable geology and mineralogy department - Pre-and Early History - presents others the reconstructed skeleton of approximately 10,000 to 15,000 year old cave bear from the Warsteiner Bilstein caves. Worth seeing are the exhibitions on the peasant living in 18th and 19 Century, the development of iron manufacturing industry in the Warsteiner space and the sculpture collection in the idyllic winter. Charming are the floor-based premises of the former owners Bergenthal with the original living room, Biedermeier room, hallway and Florentinerzimmer.
