When I asked Dr. Callie how this was possible, I was told it was due to staff turnover and poor training on how to check account balances. She admitted the mistake, but instead of taking accountability, she offered me a 40% discount like it was a favor. Communication was extremely difficult. It took an incredibly long time to get simple responses (this entire situation went on for literal years.) I was even mistakenly sent to collections--which had to be retracted - because even her lawyer was not communicating properly. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this practice. Transparency and responsibility are severely lacking.

I purchased virtually every pillow on the market, applied every ointment known to man, tried hot packs, tried cold packs, and gratefully accepted countless massages from a loving and kindly wife. Nothing helped for more than a few hours. Finally, a physician and dear friend, having personally suffered the same symptoms, recognized my condition. He sympathized with me, and then he referred me to Doctor Stephen Wells at Mountaineer Chiropractic. He held up six fingers. "That's how many visits it took," he testified, "and I feel back to normal." As well as being a soft tissue injury specialist, Dr. Wells is a very pleasant and personal individual. He alternated sessions between Active Release Techniques, manually relaxing, holding, extending, and releasing soft tissue to reduce muscle tension, and the Graston Technique, using stainless steel instruments to treat soft tissue inflammation. Both techniques are non-invasive. In addition, he gave me helpful exercises to do at home which involved a flat wall and a lacrosse ball. After three or four sessions, I could feel results. My range of motion improved, and my headache dissipated. At some point in my treatment, twisting while lifting a heavy object set me back, so it took ten or eleven sessions before I could achieve Dr. Wells' "see when needed" status. I am so grateful for Dr. Jeff Garvey and his many years of care for my health . I owned my own…read moreconstruction company in Parkersburg WV for many years, back injuries for myself and crew where common. We needed to get back to work quickly. Jeff helped educate me on specialized muscle building and stretching exercises I could do on my own. I am so grateful Dr. Garvey learned extra sports medicine training years ago. His detailed sports injury knowledge other chiropractors do not has set him apart in my recovery time! Many years later after moving out of state I stopped by for a visit, Jeff got me right in for some x-rays and maintenance back work on me. . Jeff said "let's see what we can learn with my x-ray equipment". When he put up the film on the screen I was in shock, I just about started to cry. My spine was a crocked mess. I could see everything clearly what other chiropractors had missed and never treated me for! Once again Dr. Jeff Garvey, looked me in the eyes and said, "Together we can improve these areas, but you bill must do the exercises ".
