I was referred to Mary…read moreafter my former accountant was unable to balance the books for my business and began "estimating" my tax liability. He also was unable to provide basic advice regarding business and personal deductions. No such problems with Mary. First, her attitude is the best. I've called her at all hours and at the worst times. Try calling your accountant on April 15 at 4:30 and see what happens. Mary is always prepared, knowledgeable, and pleasant. She has time for her clients and is always a pleasure. I actually enjoy my phone time with her. Second, she knows what she is doing. She's not shy about telling you about adjustments to your tax returns that would be beneficial. Her work product is outstanding. Third, she's timely. I haven't had to worry about Mary running late. I'm always late. But she manages to fix the problem and meet the deadlines. The highest compliment I can pay to Mary and her staff is that I've referred my friends and colleagues to her. They love her too.

I am a lawyer from Miami, so when a dear friend needed representation involving an incident in New…read moreOrleans, I asked around my circle of lawyer friends. Stephen Hebert's name was repeated as being the guy someone should use if they want to "fight a charge" and win. Remember, not all clients want to fight, some want to plead a case- and thats fine, but this was the kind of case that needed a very strong advocate, and that is exactly what my friend got in Mr. Hebert. I made the referral, and as usual, I sat back to watch how this attorney handled the case. Immediately I was so thankful that I suggested my friend use Stephen Hebert. Mr. Hebert was such a good communicator, that I did not need to "translate" what was going on. He took extra time to explain the proceedings, and did an excellent job of allowing my friend to choose the manner in which this delicate incident was handled. Usually when I make a suggestion about a lawyer, I find myself overly involved. I didn't need to do that with this case. At every turn, Stephen Hebert was communicative and organized. He reached out to his client (my friend) before there were concerns or questions. And believe it or not, even with such excellent service, I was amazed at how Mr. Hebert was able to stay on budget. Amazing! I now pass out Mr. Hebert's name to all my friends traveling to New Orleans- just in case. From one attorney to another, I highly recommend Stephen Hebert's services.

I believe he never planned on seeing this through. He knew my lease was up in December. And purposely would have updates with no new information, while charging $250 for each conversation. Majority of the money he made off my case was those wasted phone calls. He almost never responds to emails. And is always "out of the office". He can takes WEEKS to reply and will say things like "I was at lunch", for TWO WEEKS? That was a very indulgent lunch. This man stalled my lawsuit, missed important details, had me collect evidence he never planned on using. And failed to inform me once he filed said lawsuit, the defendant only had 21 days before DEFAULT JUDGEMENT. Not only that, he did NOT fully pay all fees for the lawsuit. And next he tried to siphon money from my balance. Lawsuit filed in July would have had a July or August default judgement. And the best plot twist is due to his neglect, the slums I needed him to sue, FLOODED. And after MONTHS of e-mails, he decides to reply ONLY to my termination e-mail. Never acknowledging prior e-mails. And the the difference between the office @ robert @ excuse is BS. You are in the same office and feet away. Not to mention you never expressed that when I expressed e-mails were too much and phone calls only. Thanks to this man, half of my belongings are gone. Thank you Mr. Marrero, you're amazing.
